Bluetooth for the e100

It's not really possible at the moment - although you can get Bluetooth SDIO cards which slot in to your SD slot, there's no support for Bluetooth in Smartphone 2002, so unless you can get an upgrade to Windows Mobile 2003 (which you certainly can't at the moment, but it might be possible in the future) it's never gunna happen

Unless microsoft update the ROM with some bluetooth drivers it will never be possible (you can get WIFI SD cards with storage which could be an alternative but the manufacturer would have to release some drivers)

An alternative? It's the only option. AFAIK, the e100 doesn't have the Bluetooth hardware so no amount of drivers or OS upgrades is going to change that - you will always need some external hardware :?

In the latest issue of w@mob (What Mobile):

Memory card specialist Sandisk has announced drivers to enable its miniscule Wi-Fi SD card for the latest range of PDAs.  Drivers for Windows Mobile 2003 devices can be downloaded from the Sandisk website with drivers for PalmOS 5.0 to follow soon.

Maybe there is a way forward?

So if microsoft update the WM2002 ROM with full SDIO support it will be possible.

Why would they bother updating SP2002 when SP2003 has been launched? Can't see it happening (and even if they did, you'd then need the Mobile Operator/Phone manufacturer to update the firmware for the devices). It ain't gonna happen!

sorry from the way you were going on i thought you were saying it wasnt possible--it is possible (although granted not likely) but only because most people want the bluetooth for audio and the jabra has that market sealed.

Also if you could buy a bluetooth SD card for the SPV/E100 it would probs be nearly the same price as an upgrade to E200 therefore pointless.
