Guest smeg36 Posted November 20, 2003 Report Share Posted November 20, 2003 Ok, I have spent around 4-5 hours trying to get my SPV software unlocked. It was supposed to come unlocked, but it didn't. Now I have to mess with it. Here is the situation: I found the file that needs to be modified. I modified that file, and left the explore window open through Activesync. I took the phone out of the cradle, and hard reset it. I had the modified file copied and ready to paste. Placed the phone back in the cradle, and Activesync recognized it. It began connecting with Activesync (at this point is when I am supposed to paste), but the explore folder doesn't recognize that the device is connected again. It won't let me paste in there at all. I was Ctrl Ving it to death, and it won't let me paste. Even after the device is completely connected and a partnership setup, it doesn't connect the explore window with the phone. So, I decided to try and use V3 Autodecerter. This also doesn't work. It copies the file fine. It modifies the file fine. I hard reset fine. I connect back to Activesync fine. It tells me that the dest file can't be created or something like that. I am at my wits ends. I want to be able to fully use this phone, and I can't right now because of the locked applications. Guest statscat Posted November 20, 2003 Report Share Posted November 20, 2003 put in your full international dialling code number so if you were int he uk you would put +44 try adding the US code you might need to download soem stuff to its a lengthy process but don't give up I think you can do it. It still doesn't recognize my combination, so it had me download a registry program. That still didn't work, so I had to send them an email. Is there any other way to unlock my phone? I guess my work network wasn't properly allowing a passthrough connection or something. But it worked finally at home. Thanks for all the help. Guest mydada Posted December 7, 2003 Report Share Posted December 7, 2003 Guys, gud morning (from Philippines) I just got my Smart Amazng Phn too just a couple of days and it is networked locked. its version is 1.7 and cant unlock it. my friend (who managed to unlocked his) tried to dwngrade it to vrsion 1.3 and 1.5, tried loading bootloader v0.98 but the phone wont accept it. grrrr after all that we tried, we cant boot the phone :lol: so my friend downloaded the 1.7 update again and load it back, got the phone back to working but still remained unlock. any help or tips from you guyz will be very much appreciated! tnx tnx tnx. you may also e-mail me at: [email protected]. tnx! im really hoping we'll get this fixed. manny!
