The remote phone unlocking web sites pay Motorola for every IMEI unlock code. You might be able to find it, but I suspect not for a very long time. It has nothing to do with Motorola making any money. It has to do with the carrier not losing money on the handsets. And Motorola or Orange or AT&T or whoever doesn't get a penny when someone unlocks a phone. I can unlock most phones out there. I don't pay anyone any money if I decid to charge for it (which I never have). Unfortunately, I don't have the generator for the newer Motorolas... I will... eventually. Others have it so it's just a matter of time. Check out the Off Topic area for the prog I posted to unlock the new Nokias. Free Free Free. One lets you load uncertified software, the other releases the SIM restriction that ties you to a particular network.
