Hey, I noticed that you are using APN payandgo.02.co.uk for the internet connection. Do you have internet access with it now ?

I haven't used my O2 PAYG SIM for ages but I remember having to use the dialup to get an internet service because the WAP APN was so restricted  All the other networks seem to be offering more services via their WAP APN so hopefully O2 have done the same

It kinda works, it does connect to GPRS but mine can't find any sites or connect to msn (with normal wap is does). Would there be any reason for this? (I'm kinda thinkin' it's the DNS lookup servers as I get the 'alert': 'Cannot find the page you requested' - or something like that.)

im not entirely sure how to get my o2 settings sorted out as i have had my sim for such a long time!!

but either way i previously had some settings similar to these but they worked off of the wap service and i was wondering if you would know how to reset it back to this way as i lost all of my settings when i had to perform a hadr reset!

i hope you can help me with this problem!!!

the MMS settings are found under your Inbox, Menu -> Account Settings --> MMS

I had the settings working on my E200, but for some reason my C500 will not work with the identical settings! I'm running with the cab file off CABbage and have changed a few settings, still will not work! It just cannot display any pages, grrr

I ahve searched and searched and this is the only thread that comes close

i have managed to get the internet access via explorer usig the work around but i can't get applets such a fizz weather to update nor any other applets hat use the internet to update.

what I want to know is how many pay and go customers want full access to the internt via explorer AND the applets they have installed as O2 will not take my request seriously as they say its not a wanted feature if it were more pay and go customers would complian to them.

Plaese please start pestering O2 to get this functionality added asap.

I cant do it alone .

Anyone know where MMS setup is on a C550?  I can't find it in Accessories or Inbox.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

you have to go;

Start

0 More

0 More

8 Configurations

3 MMS Settings

then Menu; 1 MMSC Settings.

If you have working settings for MMS on C550, please let me have them. My GPRS is working but not Media Messaging

thanks
