If not I would be very interested to see how you have got a system sound. 8) I too have spent far too long looking through the registry, and after consulting with a mate, would like to bet on editing the values in HKEY_CURRENT_USERControlPanelOpenPhoneAction or HKEY_CURRENT_USERControlPanelSounds. Add an entry into either of those such as OpenPhone etc etc in the letter or Category and Sound values in the former. These are the only places where we can see changes. Matt. If you turn ON the Keypad control sound event in Settings->Sounds it's that one. The registry entry is: [HKEY_CURRENT_USERControlPanelSoundsKeypress] and file it plays is: SWandHW.wav Unfortunately, you can't really do a lot with it as this file is replaced from the ROM when you reboot, oh, and do you REALLY want some potentially longish WAV file play for EVERY keypress? Damn shame really... There just seems to be no way to actually DO it, even though a claim was made on these forums a couples of months ago that it's possible, just makes the phone unstable. I've also done some digging around in the WM2002 SDK and there IS an event defined for the flip open, TK_VFLIP... Unfortunately, according to PocketTV and my own checks, it's not implemented yet, nor in 2003 either :) Moto must be doing their own workaround to detect when the flip is open (else how can the answer on flip work!), but I've asked them, even jumped through the hoops to get on to their developer site, and got absolutely no reply as yet, and I asked over 6 weeks ago now! Guess it's a big secret or something... To be honest, on thinking about it... As the phone has enough to do on opening the flip, such as answering an incoming call, I guess maybe playing a potentially large WAV as well might just slow the phone down too much?
