So rather than chucking it in the bin I thought i'd try wiping the tablet and load linux using a datea cable conected to my lappy. If this can be done can anyone give us a walk through or link showing how to do this? I don't want to chuck away a perfectly good working tablet if i don't have to.

Spoke to Tesco Support, who were useless ( try factory reset a few times) and finally have agreed to send me £30 compensation and have written me off.

I would like to try to resurrect the device.

I suspect the problem arose following the Lollipop update. I have searched around the forums , but not come up with a fix.

I am not sure if USB debugging is enabled as I can't get to the sttings

using volume+ but selecting power button makes no difference? Help
