I have decided to update all my roms using this Gigantic Post.

These roms will be based on DG21 Update.

Link:

Saumsung Official DG21 ROM Release (Thanks to Snow02)

Saumsung Official DG21 1.0.2.3 ROM Release (Thanks to Snow02)

Post 1 will have my current projects and challenges.

Posts 2-5 will have all my DG21 roms from lite to sense.

Update (Nov18th):

Finally a sense rom that I am satisfied with. ENJOY!

Update (Oct22nd):

I have a working sense rom that needs to be tweaked still. It is fast, but man it eats ram for breakfast! Still trying to get a working sms/mms cohesive solution put together. Stay tuned...

Update (Oct2nd):

Well screw samsung with they flawed updates! If you use my roms, DO NOT update to DG21 1.0.2.3 Instead use the link above posted by Snow02 and you'll be good. I uploaded my Zerolite rom WITH com 5 (23569) and ZeroBase. The only major difference was ie loads properly now, and I changed/added a custom search homepage.

Update (Oct1st):

Found a fix for the ie bug, but it requires cooking a new rom, no quick fix. Updated my ZeroStock rom to 1.2 and posted, I'll get to ZeroLite and ZeroBase next with the ie fix.

Update (Sep24th):

By request I'm uploading my modified s2u2 in cab from. Again I take NO credit for s2u2, it is not a program I developed. I only changed some icons and edited the settings to suit my needs. For the s2u2 website goto http://s2u2.ac-s2.com/

Download Link: AMDZERO-s2u2_2_43.cab

Update (Sep21st):

Taking time off of hardcore cooking. I'm enjoying the base rom right now. As promised here is the lockscreen that I removed in cab form.

AMDZero_Samsung_Lockscreen.cab

Update (Sep16th):

Just finished my hack of the Octans full program and I'm posting it for all i920 users. It works essentially the same as octans, but with less fluff.

i920_Flasher.zip

I'll do a ZeroStock release next but it will take a few days.

Update (Sep 13th):

Well just when I get a new sys/xip ported over and finally working the way I want it, they release ANOTHER sys/xip. *sigh*, now I'm going to port over 23138.

----------------------------

If you like my work, drop a thank you. If you want do buy me a beer:

Is there anyone who succeed in porting android beta on i920?

I saw tons of people who succeed in porting on i8000 and that worked way better than I expected.

So I tried severel times but when I used new zImage which was in android beta tool, I stuck on jumping to kernel

and when I used the Image which was used in android alpha pack for i920, the error message said 'can not find sd card no such device or wrong address'

I guess the difference of CDMA hardware and WCDMA hardware is the reason but I don't know what to do.

Anybody struggling to port android beta on i920?

Since there's not many people on the i920 section of this forum anymore I felt posting on the main topic would get more responses than posting in X's Ooberlite ROM section.

Anyways.. I'm stuck with this phone for at least a little while longer and I'm planning to upgrade to the Galaxy S III!!

Until then I'm having an Issue with sending MMS messages. when I select "insert picture" either from the normal tmail threaded sms or the other text application that looks skinned(not sure what that is) It doesn't open any type of selection screen for me to choose a picture to insert. Are there any registry settings I should check? Do I need to install Jinbox, since i'm pretty sure it was ripped out of the ooberlite rom?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks.

This is a Test release for i920 VERIZON WIRELESS only Omnia 2 device.

EDIT:

I finally got around to fixing the email issue. Test it and make sure I didn't dork something else up. This is only ultralite+sense for 23569 (winmo 6.5.5)

Download:

Test4 Ultralite+Sense 6.5.5

EDIT:

Okay so after spending a lot of time with this particular rom, I've noticed a few things.

1. Not everyone is going to be happy with what I make.

2. There is always a better way to do it.

Okay so this is a MEGA test, to include 4 roms. 2 Ultralite roms 6.5 and 6.5.5, and 2 Ultralite+Sense roms 6.5 and 6.5.5

I've run the Ultralite+Sense roms and they seem pretty stable. On the 6.5.5 side, there is a slight alignment problem with swype keyboard and totalcommander toolbar. This is a known problem with Windows Mobile 6.5.5, so not much I can do about it.

All these roms come with stock icons, no additional themes by me are included.

They are very basic, and are still considered TEST roms, as I can only test it for so long. If you want to help with testing this project, please list the TYPE of rom you found a bug in your post, or it will be difficult for me to track the problem down.

I have incorporated XDA_UC in all 4 roms (because I got tired of redoing everything after I tested the roms over and over and over...)

which also means that Mortscript (4.2) is installed.

The sense roms have HTC Phonecanvas as the phone dialer, the ultralite roms do not. The ultralite versions are considered stripped to the core, so don't expect this to be usable out of the box. I made it to be functional (and it is) so you can put YOUR custom apps/themes/UIs on the phone with a relatively clean slate.

For reference, 6.5 is COM2, start flag in upper left corner, 6.5.5 is COM5, start flag in lower left corner.

ENJOY!

================================================================================

=========

I don't have much experience with cooking 6.5 roms, as I've been working a lot with 23569 (6.5.5) roms for a while. If this test release has no/few problems I'll build a sense rom on top of it.

Please provide feedback for me.

There are no pictures yet, as this is nothing but a STRIPPED down stock rom.

Almost all samsung software components have been removed (not to include drivers obviously).

Nothing has been added except a few minor reg tweaks, and the ability to use the phone call button without widgetsplus. Also I've reduced the pagepool to 12MB in preparation for sense.

It boots to around 362.86ROM/102.63MB RAM Free

SAFE FLASHING

Reading you'll understand that if you want to be 100% safe, you should flash ONLY "pda" ". In case of any error during the flashing, even if you get a non responsive phone stuck on the PC-Phone connection screen, you'll be able to flash the ROM again.

Flashing Procedure

The following steps are as suggested by Sorg, there are other procedures which may differ a little (such as not turning the phone off) that still works but this one I've been using and tested myself and always fine:

0) Make sure to install (or to have installed already) the Samsung_CDMA_modem_4_1_.34.zip driver.

1) Make sure your phone is not connected to your PC; if it is, disconnect it.

2) Make sure to Turn off your phone.

3) Start OCTANS and fill required fields/checkboxes Select the PDA buttons and open the .nb0 file.

4) Press "Detect" button.

(1 - 13 works but it can be a pain )

1. Start windows with device driver signing disabled (F8 at start up).

2. Then once your win7 64 OR 32 bit system is up, open device manager.

3. Turn off the phone and connect it.

4. Once you see the Samsung Mit show up, right click on it and click update driver software. BE QUICK HERE !!!

NOTE: You should have the proper driver on your PC before this step.

 WinXP_x64.zip ( 59.43K )

5. Browse my computer for driver software

6. Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

7. Click next (if the phone has disconnected ie battery meter is showing)

8. Click have disk

9. Navigate to the proper driver for win7 64-bit.

10. BEFORE you click on next after selecting the .inf file, unplug and replug the phone back in.

11. Then click next

12. You will see it start to load, and you may need to reboot the computer

13. If it does ask you to reboot remember to DISABLE device driver on boot up (F8 again).

Before you do step three already have device manager open because the Mobile Devices list which is where you need to go for step four will only show for about 3 seconds after plugging your phone (turned off) in. Once the battery icon begins to show on you’ve waited too long. Once the mobile device list pops up. Click on the arrow next to it and select update drivers. By this time your phone will have disconnected but its ok because you will have already accessed the next menu that you need. Resume to following the instructions to step 10. Make sure that your phone is still off and plug your phone back in and then do step 11(about a second after plugging your phone back in. I would only wait about one sec after plugging the phone in before clicking next as indicated in step 11. The way you can tell if it was successful is to go back to device manager plug your phone back in and click on properties under the samsung mits drivers in Mobile devices and check the driver date. It should be an earlier version now. I also followed the i8000 guide and it never worked unitl AMDZero showed me these steps with a little more detail so credits go to him if it works for you.

QUOTE(das7771 @ Feb 8 2010, 05:03) *

I have been trying to flash my o2 the past couple of days but I have been having trouble with my phone staying connected to my comp once I turn my phone off. I am using Windows 7 x64 and have followed the steps in the guide closely. But every time I turn my phone off and plug in the usb cable my phone will show up in the mobile device list with Samsung Mit showing in the list. As soon as the charging icon appears on my phone and the phone begins to charge I lose connection and the mobile device listing disappears. I can plug/unplug my phone and the drivers will show under the mobile device menu but disappear as soon as the phone begins to charge. I can not find a way to hold a connection so that I can change the drivers and connect to Octans. I was looking for a way to disable charging through the USB cable but I can not find a setting so I am assuming I can not do it. I have also hard reset my phone and I get the same results. Has any one else experienced this.

as previously stated...

1. start windows with device driver signing disabled (F8 at start up).

2. Then once your win7 64-bit system is up, open devicemanager.

3. turn off the phone and connect it.

4. once you see the Samsung Mit show up, right click on it and click update driver software.

5. browse my computer for driver software

6. let me pick from a list of device drivers on my comptuer.

7. click next (if the phone has disconnected ie battery meter is showing)

8. click have disk

9. navigate to the proper driver for win7 64-bit.

10. BEFORE you click on next after selecting the .inf file, unplug and replug the phone back in.

11. Then click next

12. You will see it start to load, and you may need to reboot the computer.

13. If it does ask you to reboot remember to DISABLE device driver on boot up (F8 again).

you should be back in business after this.

Windows 7 (especially 64-bit) only lets you use signed drivers. Even after you do all of this you may need to do it again if you ever flash your phone again.

MAKE SURE you have octans loaded (not mini either) and select the flash file using PDA button.

tick the Skip over waiting for booting completely checkbox

tick the Start downloading immediately checkbox

the click detect

THATS when you finally plug your powered off phone to the usb.

ALSO...plug into usb port NOT A HUB its been recommended to use your rear ports but I always use my front port.

:( :D

pic's are always good

ROM Information:

This ROM has been built from the ground up, literally. Based on what you select for a UI, decides on how much available RAM you will have. This ROM currently maxes out at about 120MB but then settles between 110 and 100 depending on your UI. This ROM can be used with other Today interfaces if you desire. If you have the knowledge to edit your phone's StartUp Folder, you can even further increase the RAM on this device, but I have included all Stock Samsung i920 Applications and their StartUp prerequisites. This is NOT an OOberLite version. That will be released prior to the X-920 Sense ROM. This ROM is built for the Samsung Enthusiast.

I have been around awhile, barely can flash my phone. So, there is my level of expertise...

I am wondering what all the cooks are running on their own personal O2's??

I have used Steels beta Sense, AMD lite ROM (current), Ninja's Today. I am wondering what the cooks themselves are using.

And I understand requesting something is like wishing in one hand and _____ in the other, I am only looking for a ROM that offers RAM (though speed is only critical sometimes), battery life, web browsing (opera I understand the RAM hog, but I am used to it now), and listening to music, flashlight, JinBox ONLY!! (hate the default texting in Samsung), and reading e books. Can any of you great cooks help me out. I don't need a reg edit or an overclocking, or games, or orientation. Stuff like that. If any of you maybe interested in making the most basic streamlined ROM, i would love to converse and create something useful for those of us who continually are overwhelmed by all the stuff on the phone that may be useless or unused since it resides over are heads.

I have read the guides about cooking but they just give me a headache.... This is my last ditch effort to combine my usage and basic understanding to either cook or combine and create something so streamlined and useful to us newbies that MODACO will have to deem us legends!

If anyone reads this that feels the same way please be heard and reply to this post, and if anyone wants to help create a ROM that has about 65-74 RAM available but with just enough programs to not get lost driving, in the dark, or without a quick easy topic at their next cocktail party,

PLEASE PLEASE RESPOND!!

Hi All,

First off I would say how much I enjoy this forum. Kudos to all the chefs and members. There are an incredible amount of talented people who are on this forum and I have learned a great deal and have been a confirmed flash-aholic for some time.

I wanted to share with you my personal observation.

After flashing custom WM6.5 and 6.5.x ROMs I came to the realization that I would never find the "PERFECT" set-up for my Omnia 2. I've spent a lot of time playing, tweaking, flashing and overall just messing with my phone and I realized I'll never be completely happy unless I cook my own ROMs (which I may tackle at a later date) or design my own phone (I'm not an engineer). With that being said I decided to flash to the most current stock Verizon 6.5 DG21 ROM and just add the programs and registry edits I need and use. I no longer have any problems with anything I use my phone for. No dropped calls, no problems with SMS or MMS, no sleep of death, internet tethering works, Wi-Fi works, GPS works, long battery life, it's fast and most importantly, EVERYTHING JUST PLAIN WORKS!!!

I will probably never be completely happy with my phone but I am satisfied enough to now leave it alone and actually USE IT instead of play with it. You wouldn’t believe how much extra time I now have on my hands. So with that being said here is a list of the registry edits and cabs I used to get my stock Verizon i920 as useful as I needed it and get my life back.

First, back up your contacts, calendar, pics, music, ect. then flash the stock Verizon 6.5 DG21 Rom. Reset your phone then install your cabs and enter your registry edits. Install any other software you use on a regular basis and enjoy your phone.

I am not the original author or developer for any of these tweaks/cabs so all credit goes to them. I just wanted to consolidate this into one post for the group. Also, please feel free to add any registry tweaks or cabs you use so the rest of use can take advantage of them.

Registry Edits:

Add email to jinbox:

Enable Samsung skinned Email application: In more recent ROMs the Samsung messaging application has only included the SMS folders unlike older Samsung ROMs which allowed you to setup and navigate through email accounts within the Samsung messaging app. If you would like to re-enable this feature you can edit this registry setting: HKLM\Software\Samsung\JINBOX - change the ShowEmailAccounts entry from 0 to 1. Restart the Samsung messaging app and now you will have access to the email folders as well as SMS.

For Omnia Titanium Lovers:

If you want to use Omnia skinned contacts instead of WM Default just change this registry:

HKLM/software/microsoft/shell/rai/:MSCONTACTS replace: :MSPOUTLOOK contacts with: "\windows\SECContact.exe"

-Cclock plugin. I used that instead of some other fancy plugin mainly because you can make it link to samsung clock when you press it and still get the alarm icon when you set the alarm. Also memory usage is low.

In order to make it link to samsung alarm (or any alarmapp) when you press it, you need to change this in registry:

HKLM/software/microsoft/shell/rai/msclock. Replace the clock.exe with "\windows\tclock.exe" on string 1

-Calendar plugin. You can make it link to sumsung calendar instead of windows. SAme way as clock. Change this HKLM/software/microsoft/shell/rai/MSCALENDAR

You need to replace: :MSPOUTLOOK calendar with: "\windows\tcalendar.exe" /next

P.S. With "\windows\tcalendar.exe" /next it takes you to the current day.

With "\windows\tcalendar.exe" /all it takes you to your next appointment.

With "\windows\tcalendar.exe" /new it takes you to the appointment creation screen

Add any other cabs or programs you use on a regular basis. I now consider myself a reformed flashaholic and just wanted to post this for the rest of the group. If you want your life back try this and see if it works for you.

Special Notes

Please update your phone with the latest Samsung DG21 update before flashing this rom.

After you flash and XDA_UC has installed fully, I would probably soft reset the phone for good measure. This will make sure all installed programs are fully installed.

To use XDA_UC

Before you flash my rom, make a folder on your "Storage Card" called XDA_UC. Make a folder in that folder called SD. Whatever you want installed to main memory will go in XDA_UC folder. If you want to choose the install location, use the SD folder. Should be working 100%, but let me know if you have any issues.

Today and Main Menu

The Main Menu is on by default and also linked to the cube button. If you turn off "Touchwiz" it will return to the Windows start menu.

The Today homescreen's built in Google search widget will work, but you need to install Opera 10 to your \My Storage folder.

Current Issues:

*The Today home screen is a little touchy at times. Also the "Settings" do no always light up or work.

* jInbox is currently cooked (but not default). I only cooked it in so the sms icon works for Today.

Please let me know if you have any issues or if you want something in/out of the rom

Which ROM has no, or very few, Samsung customizations? I currently have the stock ROM and turned off the TouchUI, but it still has Samsung custom apps for many things. I would like a ROM that is as close to stock Microsoft as possible. Any recommendations?

Notes:

HDWalls:

You must use special wallpapers with this program. Just google, examples:

http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=676802

http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=682384

You must install the files to '\Wallpapers' in main storage.

Instructions:

1) Run the HDWalls App

2) Select Wallpaper

3) Slide home screen 'up' and restart Sense.

Quick GPS:

-An HTC app that can download a file containing the current location of Satellites. This enables almost instantaneous lock-on of GPS.

-I ported one over from an older version of Sense, for various technical reasons. I don't know if others got the new stuff to work, but I could not. Also, the GUI is odd shaped, but the program works, it will download the data update.

-It is a known fact that in same cases even though QuickGPS works, it still has no effect.

-It currently appears that for me on fresh flash, first running the tool, enabling GPS Location, and enabling GPS in Google Maps setting, Google Maps locked 5 sats instantly. I never even saw it search for sats.

-The i8000 GPS driver and tweak should speed up GPS lock for those cases the QuickGPS is not effective.

-If it doesn't work in Google Maps, try setting it's GPS setting to COM 4 BAUD 57600

-Gripe: I spent over 40 hours over a week to get this one thing to work. I hope its worth it.

This rom is primarily a work of things already started by xlightwaverx, AMDZero, SteelReign and many more.

Regarding builds before XIP Update:

The 6.5 ver has only the kernel of WinMo release 29017. The rest of the OS is from an older 21916 release to preserve the top Start Menu feel.

The 6.5.5 has the newer kernel as well as the other newer OS files. This gives the bottom Start Menu feel, and is a completely updated OS.

Winmo Release 29022 is the very latest Windows Mobile release from MS at this time.

I have recently purchased the Samsung Droid Charge and with doing so I will no longer be participating in this Omnia 2 forum.

I would like to thank all the chefs that made the Omnia 2 a great phone. I appreciate all the hard work that they did.

And I would also like to thank all other members in this forum for helping me out when I had problems.

P.S.

For those of you who are thinking about switching to Android I would highly recommend it. I had the Droid Charge for only 2 days now and I find it WAY better than Windows Mobile in every aspect

Peace out!

Ok this is my first post and I DON'T understand a lot of the information on this site! I have an Omnia i920 and have had it for close to a year. i have figured out how to download some apps and get them to work but that is about it.

1. I am currently running 6.5 Pro CE OS 5.2.21863. Is there an update to this and also if I install the update will all of my downlaoded apps have to be re-installed?

2. One of the apps that I downloaded is WalkingHotSpot. After I installed the internet sharing software this app has been truely amazing. However just yesterday I discovered that it is no longer working. To my knowledge I have not changed anything on my phone to make this app quit working. Any suggestions?

Thanks for all responses!

Hello, I havent been around much since I had my i910, just got a i920 from my bro so i figured I'd get on here and get the low down on where to start with this thing.

I know I should be checking what firmware/software it's running, but i've been out of the loop for a while.

Also, with the omni i910 I was a big fan of "lite" roms and some custom spb ms configs.. so unless there's anything ground breaking with UI's for the 920.. can somebody point me in the right direction?

Thanks much in advance.

Hi all,

I've had several people private message me as to how I got my SPB Mobile Shell to look like HTC Sense so I thought I would share this with the group. The reason I did this for my phone was because I could not get a Sense ROM to function well enough for my taste. They were all either too slow in operation or too buggy to be worth sticking with. I now have Mobile Shell running over a custom ROM from xLightwaverx and it's fast and smooth. I did not develop any of this software so all credit goes to the developers, I just put together a series of Today screens that work well and I think look good.

First you need SPB Mobile Shell. As this is a commercial program expect to pay $29.95 for it. You will also need DROID PRO+ 3.0 by DOC3000 & MSKIP from XDA Developers. The good news is this is a free MS add-on. Make sure you download the [W]VGA cab V2.2. In addition, from the same thread, you need the [W]VGA weather iconpack zip file from Post #3 and the VA_Date.zip file from Post #1254. Finally download the wallpaper from the bottom of this post.

Once you have downloaded all these files to your computer you are ready to go.

Installation Steps:

1. First remove all of your items from your Today Screen.

2. Install a clean version of Mobile Shell 3.5 to your phone. If you already have MS on your phone you will need to uninstall it and do a soft-reset before re-installation.

3. Once MS is installed you need to close the program. Press the "Launcher" key on the bottom program bar. Then press "Settings" and "SPB Mobile Shell". Press the icon in the lower right of the screen to bring up the "Exit Shell" option and press it.

4. Install the MSKIP_DOC3000_DroidPro+_V2.2_[W]VGA_20101213.cab you downloaded earlier to your phone. When asked install it to your "Device" Memory. Upon installation the program will ask you a series of questions. The first is "Which MenuBar do you want to use?" Choose MenuBar6 and press OK. You will then be asked "Do you want the Task Manager Button to open?" Choose Mobile Shell Screen, press OK and pick SPB Task Manager and press OK again. You will then be asked "Do you want the Middle Button to open?" Pick Mobile Shell Screen and press OK and pick Launcher (Basic or Advanced) your choice. (I use the Advanced setting). Press OK. You are then asked "Do you want the Contact Button to open?" Pick SPB Favorites and press OK. You will get an "Updated Information" confirmation and you will be taken back to your Today Screen where SPB Mobile Shell will restart. (It can take up to a minute or so for the MS to restart so just be patient.)

Once MS has restarted you will be looking at your Lifestyle home screen.

5. Close MS again and unzip the [W]VGA weather iconpack and VA_Date.zip files you downloaded earlier. From these unziped directories go to the Mobile Sence folder from the Weather Icon zip file and copy the 4 VA_Weather files you find there to your SPB Mobile Shell directory overwriting the file that are there (Only use the files from the Mobile Sence folder.) Do the same thing for the 2 files from the VA_Date zip file.

6. Restart Mobile Shell.

7. Press the MENU Widgets icon in the lower right of your screen and select Edit Layout. Tap each highlighted icon in turn until the menu pops up. Click on the Remove icon for each item until you have a clean screen. Once your screen is clean press the + icon in the lower right of the screen. The Choose Widget menu will pop up. Press the Digital Clock icon. This will place the widget on your today screen. Press the widget to configure it and select Change Skin from the menu. Scroll down the menu until you see "HTC Clock (White)" and select it. Press the check mark icon. Select the + icon again and then scroll down to the Weather widget and select it. Select the weather widget from your Today screen to configure it. Select Change Skin and scroll down to the ProPlus1 HTC (Info) item. Select it and press the check mark icon. Now move the weather widget to align with the bottom of your clock widget. Press the + icon and select Weather again. Configure this new weather widget an change the skin to ProPlus Info (Left, S). Move the widget to the bottom left corner of your clock widget.

8. At this point press OK so we can configure your weather city. Press the Weather widget and select your city. Your weather should update automatically. Go back to your home screen.

9. Press MENU Widgets again and Add Widget. Scroll down and pick the Current Date widget. Press the Date widget to configure it and select Change Shin. Scroll down and select Agenda Back3 (1 item).

10. Press MENU Widgets again and Add Widget. Scroll down and pick the Agenda widget. Change it's skin to Agenda (1 Item, Large). Arrange the date and agenda widget to center them under your weather on the today screen.

11. Next we need to add a transparent bar to set our phone notification icons on. Add a widget and select Shortcut and choose My Shortcuts, select My Shortcuts again. (This will give you a blank Droid icon on your today screen.) Press on it and choose Change Skin. Select Fond2. Center the widget on your screen.

12. Add widget and select Missed Calls. Change it's skin to Expresso3 (40x40) and position it on the bar you created above.

13. Follow the same steps for the Voicemail, SMS and MMS, and Emails widgets, positioning them on the same bar.

14. Now add your four favorite applications. Add widget, Shortcut, Programs and select any four you like. One you have them on your today screen change their skin to Sence Text (1Line) or Sence Text (2Line).

Congratulations your primary Today screen is finished. One of the nice features of the Droid Pro+ add-on for MS is the ability to add invisible widgets to your screen. I have five invisible widgets on my Today screen, they are; Wireless Manager, Phone Profile, Samsung's Clock and Alarm, WeatherBug Mobile and Samsung's My Calendar. To learn how to do this let's start with the Wireless Manager and the Phone Profile widgets. Add a widget and select Wireless Manager. Change it's skin to Sence Transparent (Small) and move the widget to the upper left corner of your display. Do the same thing with the Phone Profile widget and move it to the upper right corner of your display. You can now access both of these utilities from your home page by pressing on the invisible widgets. By doing this you can also overlay invisible widgets over your screen so that you can open a different program than the default one the widget would normally point to.

15. Now lets build the calendar screen. From your main today screen scroll to the left. Delete all the widgets on this page. Add the Current Date widget and change its skin to Date TypoClock White. Next add the Birthdays widget. Now add the Tasks widget and change its Settings to 2 on the Tasks count. Finally add the Agenda widget changing its skin to Large. Arrange them to your taste.

16. Now for the weather screen. Scroll to the right past your main today screen. Remove all the widgets from this page. Add 5 weather widgets. Change their skins as follows: Sence Manilla, Full SemiTransparent, Sence Info (Mid, Center), Sence City (Short Center), and Sence Temp (Mid, Center). Arrange them as in the screen shot below.

17. Now we are going to change the background so the dynamic icons will show through the task bar's windows. I have included at the bottom of this post the background I use. I have added the icons to match the pages you just configured. Copy the dynamic wallpaper background to your phone. Select MENU Widgets and choose Change Background. Select Picture File and navigate to the directory you just copied your background to. When the Edit Picture file loads do not change the position of the highlighted box. Press the left arrow at the bottom left corner of the page to load the background image.

That's it. You should now have a Sence looking three page today screen with dynamic background icons. There are just too many configuration features to list here for Mobile Shell running the Droid Pro+ add-on. Experiment and I'm sure you'll find the setting you will like. Enjoy.

The current stock keyboard has bit a of a delay, which gets really annoying for long texts. I've been looking at the HTC one, but I'm not sure if I'm really satisfied with it. Are there any others out there?

Oh and what is the "6.5.3 native keyboard" ?
