<p>
	Here's how to fix 'freezing issue' &amp; 'keyboard dock wake issue' plaguing Chuwi Vi10 Plus &amp; Hi10 Plus. This patch will:
</p>

<ul><li>
		install source built kernel with updated mmc drivers to fix 'freezing issue'
	</li>
	<li>
		add configs for external keyboard docks to fix 'keyboard dock wake issue'
	</li>
	<li>
		disable dm-verity (because it's needed to modify /system partition)
	</li>
</ul><p>
	<strong>Prerequisites:</strong><br />
	You need to have the latest stock firmware and <a href="https://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/377883-recovery-twrp-302-0-for-chuwi-vi10-plus-hi10-plus-hi10-pro-hibook-pro/" rel="">TWRP recovery</a> installed. See 'Settings -&gt; About Tablet' on your device and choose the file that matches your stock firmware version. Do not install these files on mismatching firmware versions!
</p>

<p>
	<strong>How to install:</strong><br />
	1. Download zip below matching your stock firmware and copy it to your device's sdcard.<br />
	2. Boot to <a href="https://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/377883-recovery-twrp-302-0-for-chuwi-vi10-plus-hi10-plus-hi10-pro-hibook-pro/" rel="">TWRP recovery</a>.<br />

	This is my build of Dees-Troy's <a href="http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/" rel="external nofollow">Team Win Recovery Project</a> (TWRP) 3.0.2-0 for Nexbox A95X (Amlogic S905 with Android 5.1) TV box. You need to connect a mouse to your device to use this recovery.
</p>

<p>
	<span style="color:#FF0000;">Do not mirror my builds!</span> Please post a link to <a href="http://konstakang.com/devices/nexbox_a95x/TWRP" rel="external nofollow">this page</a> instead.

	<strong>recovery-twrp-3.0.2-0-nexbox_a95x.zip</strong> (TWRP/stock recovery flashable)<br /><a href="http://konstakang.com/devices/nexbox_a95x/TWRP" rel="external nofollow">http://konstakang.com/devices/nexbox_a95x/TWRP</a><br />

</p>

<p>
	This device is rooted out-of-the-box and it has unlocked bootloader. Stock recovery also allows flashing zips that are signed with generic test key. I haven't found a way to use adb when connected with an USB cable. There's no way to boot the device into bootloader to use fastboot either. There's still about a dozen ways to install TWRP - here's a few.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Booting from SD card:</strong><br />
	1. Download recovery-twrp3020-nexbox_a95x.img and rename it as recovery.img<br />
	2. Copy TWRP recovery.img to the root of your external SD card<br />
	3. Power down your device<br />
	4. Power up your device by pressing (and holding) reset button found in AV port (use a thin non-metal object - e.g. toothpick, plastic straw, etc)<br />
	5. Your device will boot into TWRP<br />
	6. Use TWRP to install the recovery flashable TWRP zip or use TWRP's 'flash image' option to install the TWRP recovery.img<br />
	7. Reboot recovery
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Using stock recovery:</strong><br />
	1. Download recovery-twrp-3.0.2-0-nexbox_a95x.zip and copy it to your external SD card or USB stick<br />
	2. Power down your device<br />
	3. Power up your device by pressing (and holding) reset button found in AV port (use a thin non-metal object - e.g. toothpick, plastic straw, etc)<br />
	4. Select 'apply update from EXT' -&gt; 'update from sdcard/udisk' -&gt; recovery-twrp-3.0.2-0-nexbox_a95x.zip<br />
	5. Reboot recovery
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Using shell:</strong><br />
	1. Download recovery-twrp3020-nexbox_a95x.img and rename it as recovery.img<br />
	2. Copy TWRP recovery.img to your internal storage, external SD card, or USB stick<br />
	3. Open e.g. <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm" rel="external nofollow">Terminal Emulator</a> and change into the directory you saved the TWRP recovery.img (/sdcard, /storage/sdcard1, or /storage/udisk0, respectively)<br />
	4. Execute following commands
</p>

<pre class="ipsCode prettyprint lang-html prettyprinted">
<span class="pln">su
dd if=recovery.img of=/dev/block/recovery</span></pre>

<p>
	5. Reboot recovery
</p>

<p>
	<strong>How to install proper root management:</strong><br />
	1. Download <a href="http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu-stable" rel="external nofollow">SuperSU</a> zip and copy it to your device's sdcards or USB stick<br />
	2. Boot to TWRP recovery<br />
	3. Install SuperSU zip in TWRP
</p>

<p>
	<strong>How to restore stock recovery:</strong><br />
	1. Download zip below and use any of the methods described above<br />
	2. Reboot recovery

	This is my build of Dees-Troy's <a href="http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/" rel="external nofollow">Team Win Recovery Project</a> (TWRP) 3.0.2-0 for Chuwi Vi10 Plus, Hi10 Plus, Hi10 Pro, Hibook &amp; Hibook Pro. Choose the right image for your device.

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Prerequisites:</strong><br />
	1. Download and install <a href="https://software.intel.com/en-us/android/articles/intel-usb-driver-for-android-devices" rel="external nofollow">Intel Android USB driver</a> (Windows) or setup udev rules (Linux).<br />
	2. Download and install <a href="https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html" rel="external nofollow">Android SDK tools</a> and platform-tools to get adb and fastboot.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Unlocking the bootloader:</strong><br />
	1. Enable developer settings by clicking 'Settings -&gt; About tablet -&gt; Build number' several times. Enable 'Settings -&gt; Developer options -&gt; OEM unlocking' (not sure if necessary) and 'Settings -&gt; Developer options -&gt; Android debugging'.<br />
	2. Plug in your device via USB cable and open terminal window as an administrator (Windows). Boot device into bootloader by executing
</p>

<pre class="ipsCode prettyprint lang-html prettyprinted">
<span class="pln">adb reboot bootloader</span></pre>

<p>
	You can also boot to bootloader by holding volume down button when powering on the device (or when selecting to boot to Android if you have a dual-boot device).<br />
	3. Execute in terminal
</p>

<pre class="ipsCode prettyprint lang-html prettyprinted">
<span class="pln">fastboot oem unlock</span></pre>

<p>
	Unlocking bootloader doesn't erase userdata on this device.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Installing TWRP:</strong><br />
	1. Change into the directory you saved the TWRP recovery image, boot to bootloader as above, and execute
</p>

<pre class="ipsCode prettyprint lang-html prettyprinted">
<span class="pln">fastboot flash recovery recovery-twrp3020-cht_cr_mrd_w.img</span></pre>

<p>
	You can also just boot TWRP recovery image by executing
</p>

<pre class="ipsCode prettyprint lang-html prettyprinted">
<span class="pln">fastboot boot recovery-twrp3020-cht_cr_mrd_w.img</span></pre>

<p>
	You can boot to TWRP by executing 'adb reboot recovery'. It's also possible to boot to recovery by booting to bootloader first (as above), using volume keys to select 'recovery' option and using power key to confirm.
</p>

<p>
	2. Install <a href="https://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/377884-howto-disable-dm-verity-root-chuwi-vi10-plus/" rel="">boot image that disables dm-verity</a> before you modify your /system partition in any way. Otherwise dm-verity will prevent your device from booting.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>How to restore stock recovery:</strong><br />
	1. Download zip below suitable for your device and copy it to your device's sdcard.<br />
	2. Boot to TWRP recovery.<br />
	3. Install zip in TWRP.<br />
	4. Reboot recovery.

	China base Company Poptel is targeting top rugged smartphones like a Samsung Galaxy Active S8 and Cat S61.
</p>

<p>
	The following information I found on the internet.   It will come with a 5.7-inch FHD+ display with Corning Gorilla glass, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, Helio P23, yep, NFC, 16MP + 5MP dual rear AI camera, 8MP Front, Android 8.1, Face and Fingerprint unlock.
</p>

<p>
	How the company is comparing it with Samsung and Cat rugged phones?
</p>

<p>
	What do you say?

<p>
	The stock rom has so many bugs, sometimes doesn't wake from sleep, dies suddenly when at less than 10% battery but Windows can still function until depletion, sometimes doesn't read SD card, sometimes it doesn't show the unlock screen on boot and I have to wait for the screen to lock so I can unlock or it will be stuck if I touch something, sometimes gets stuck on shutdown, poweramp crashes 9/10 times when pressing the play button or manually choosing track, won't boot after flashing default boot.img and recovery.img (currently rooted).
</p>

<p>
	I've uploaded the stock recovery to Mega in case someone wants to take a look. <a href="https://mega.nz/#!0IZX0bgB!pcTQ-Kwkw45aZ3-BIaTEQOh_suWHlq4UmATyNkx9gk8" rel="external nofollow">DOWNLOAD</a>

<p>
	The Chuwi Hi 10 Plus tablet is dual boot.
</p>

<p>
	Now, I want/need to change the partition sizes on the 64GB internal storage. I would prefer to reduce the Win10 partition to maybe 10GB and add all the rest to the Android partition.
</p>

<p>
	Or, second-best would be to remove the Win10 partition completely, and have to whole internal storage for Android.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	How do I go about preferably the first choice?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thank you, Ross <span></span>

<p>
	Vernee surprises us this time with a ruggedized smartphone, Vernee Active. As we already know, the brand is known for delighting us with very accessible, modern and enjoyable quality phones, such as the Vernee MIX 2. However, this time it wanted to venture into the world of all ruggedized smartphones that, in general, has an incredible appearance. Following this line of ruggedized smartphones, the Vernee Active has an excellent design and performance, kindly read our brief review of all its features and full specifications.
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://ibb.co/bLPFOH" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://preview.ibb.co/dt0piH/Vernee_Active.jpg" class="ipsImage" alt="Vernee_Active.jpg" /></a>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Design</strong>
</p>

<p>
	It has a 2.5D double curvature design; this confers a different grip experience that is far from a traditional ruggedized phone. The shiny black PC material on the back panel gives Vernee Active a beautiful, modern look. According to Vernee, it is a smartphone at the military level. It is made of aluminum alloy frame together with TPU on the top and bottom. This combination went through almost 300 endurance tests, where the six sides and the four corners endured the fall tests without any problems. In addition, it presents double CD reinforced screws.
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://ibb.co/kX1UiH" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://preview.ibb.co/k1Adcc/20180216_134021.jpg" class="ipsImage" alt="20180216_134021.jpg" /></a>
</p>

<p>
	The Kevlar material has been used for the back shell. Thus it will have the ability to resist sliding and wear and stains. In addition, this material has a unique tactile feel, which combined with the shiny black frame will give you a unique grip. Vernee constantly adjusted the design and gave the Vernee Active phone a size of 156.7 x 80 x 11.2mm, so the Active has a traditional 5.0-inch smartphone body. However, the company managed to fit a 5.5-inch screen. The precise weight and size offer a good feeling when holding it, being easier to transport, standing out from other ruggedized mobiles.

<p>
	This is my build of Dees-Troy's <a href="http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/" rel="external nofollow">Team Win Recovery Project</a> (TWRP) 3.0.2-0 for Cube iWork8 Ultimate (I1-T/I1-TD/I1-TWB/I1-TC) and iWork8 Air (I1-TF/I1-TBF). There's (at least) seven different batches of iWork8 Ultimate &amp; iWork8 Air with slightly different hardware. Choose the right image for your model! I1-TWB image is reported working on I1-TF-20161108 and I1-TFB devices.
</p>

<p>
	<span style="color:#FF0000;">Do not mirror my builds!</span> Please post a link to <a href="http://konstakang.com/devices/cube_iwork8ultimate/TWRP" rel="external nofollow">this page</a> instead.
</p>

<p>
	<a href="http://konstakang.com/devices/cube_iwork8ultimate/TWRP" rel="external nofollow">http://konstakang.com/devices/cube_iwork8ultimate/TWRP</a>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Prerequisites:</strong><br />
	1. Download and install <a href="https://software.intel.com/en-us/android/articles/intel-usb-driver-for-android-devices" rel="external nofollow">Intel Android USB driver</a> (Windows) or setup udev rules (Linux).<br />
	2. Download and install <a href="https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html" rel="external nofollow">Android SDK tools</a> and platform-tools to get adb and fastboot.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Unlocking the bootloader:</strong><br />
	1. Enable developer settings by clicking 'Settings -&gt; About tablet -&gt; Build number' several times. Enable 'Settings -&gt; Developer options -&gt; OEM unlocking' (not sure if necessary) and 'Settings -&gt; Developer options -&gt; Android debugging'.<br />
	2. Plug in your device via USB cable and open terminal window as an administrator (Windows). Boot device into bootloader by executing
</p>

<pre class="ipsCode prettyprint lang-html prettyprinted">
<span class="pln">adb reboot bootloader</span></pre>

<p>
	You can also boot to bootloader by holding volume down button in dual boot menu and selecting to boot to Android.<br />
	3. Execute in terminal
</p>

<pre class="ipsCode prettyprint lang-html prettyprinted">
<span class="pln">fastboot oem unlock</span></pre>

<p>
	Menu appears on the device warning that unlocking the bootloader will erase the device. Use volume keys to select the option to approve and use power key to confirm. It will try to format the data partition but fails because the bootloader is pretty useless (see below). Bootloader will be unlocked, though.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Notes about the bootloader:</strong><br />
	Android bootloader is not working properly because of how Windows partition are named (not prepended with 'android_' what the bootloader expects). You can see a warning message when booted to bootloader and some bootloader functions are not working properly. You can't use fastboot to flash any image! Good thing is that you can still use fastboot to boot images. It also possible to fix this by booting the tablet to Windows and use something like '<a href="https://sourceforge.net/projects/gptfdisk/" rel="external nofollow">GPT fdisk</a>' tool to rename the Windows partitions (add 'android_' prefix). This is not absolutely necessary though if you're not planning to use fastboot to flash images.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Installing TWRP:</strong><br />
	1. Download both TWRP recovery image and TWRP flashable zip from this post. Save the TWRP flashable zip to your device's sdcard. Save the TWRP recovery image to a place you can access in terminal window.<br />
	2. Change into the directory you saved the TWRP recovery image, boot to bootloader as above, and execute
</p>

<pre class="ipsCode prettyprint lang-html prettyprinted">
<span class="pln">fastboot boot recovery-twrp3020-cht_cr_mrd.img</span></pre>

<p>
	3. Install TWRP flashable zip from sdcard once booted to TWRP.<br />
	4. Reboot recovery.
</p>

<p>
	You can boot to TWRP by executing 'adb reboot recovery'. It's also possible to boot to recovery by booting to bootloader first (as above), using volume keys to select 'recovery' option and using power key to confirm.
</p>

<p>
	If you've renamed Windows partitions (see above), you can use 'fastboot flash recovery recovery-twrp3020-cht_cr_mrd.img' to install the recovery image.
</p>

<p>
	Stock ROM is encrypted by default which means data partition is not accessible in TWRP before you format it (select 'Wipe -&gt; Format Data' - doing a factory reset is not enough). <span style="color:#FF0000;">Important!</span> This will erase your data including internal sdcard. It's recommended to do this once when installing <a href="https://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/377299-howto-disable-dm-verity-root-navigation-bar-mod-for-cube-iwork8-ultimate/" rel="">dm-verity disabled/unencrypted boot image</a> or flashing a custom ROM (<a href="https://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/377300-devrom315-cyanogenmod-121-android-511-for-cube-iwork8-ultimate/" rel="">CyanogenMod</a>, <a href="https://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/377513-portrom157-remix-os-20-android-511-for-cube-iwork8-ultimate/" rel="">Remix OS</a>).
</p>

<p>
	<strong>How to restore stock recovery:</strong><br />
	1. Download zip below suitable for your device and copy it to your device's sdcard.<br />
	2. Boot to TWRP recovery.<br />
	3. Install zip in TWRP.<br />
	4. Reboot recovery.

<p>
	I have a chuwi hi10 plus, did not root the device. but i heard that the device is already partially rooted from factory due to the dual boot.
</p>

<p>
	I tried xposed-rootcloak but sees  warning:"Verified boot (DM verity) prevents the device from booting if the system partition is modified. Installing Xposed is not recommended."
</p>

<p>
	I stopped there so as not to risk bricking the device.
</p>

<p>
	I am not looking to root the device, just want to run some apps that detects and prevents rooted devices from running the app.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks in advance!

<p>
	Hi everyone!<br />
	I've had this good little device for a year now and I'm after squeezing some extra power out of this device. I've been a fan of Cyanogen Mod for a while and the ROM on the Fusion 5 108 just seems a bit sluggish in parts. I use it mostly for viewing PDFs with occasional video streaming and some games like Ingress. Oddly, its sluggish sometimes on the PDF viewing.
</p>

<p>
	Any ideas on mods and ROMs that might help? Is the Fusion5 known as something else which might suddenly reveal more options? A quick Google doesn't turn up much definite info.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	All help massively appreciated to squeeze some more power out of this rather nice underdog device.
</p>

<p>
	As a camera it sounds decent, and apparently it is Vanilla Android underneath, Android 6.0 still gets security updates, so hopefully it is regularly patched.
</p>

<p>
	Curious who I should ask for a kernel source

	1-Download Oficial frimware:<a href="http://dl.apktools.ir/frimware/frimware%20Andorid%20Cube%20Air.rar" rel="external nofollow">http://dl.apktools.ir/frimware/frimware%20Andorid%20Cube%20Air.rar </a><br />
	2-Extract the Firmware ROM and Replace the file gpt.bin by which I uploaded. Please decompress the rar.<br />
	3-Flash the ROM.<br />
	4-That’s it. Enjoy.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Note</strong>:<br />
	This solution will work on any 32 GB tablet. the trick is the gpt.bin file.<br />
	After the operation, be patient because the tablet will restart several times, then wait<br />
	Charge your tablet at least 60%<br />
	Note the responsibility and consequences of this is at your own risk<br />
	**This link (frimware) is my personal server, please Other friends Upload Center upload because after a while I removed**<br />

<p>
	If like me, you have found it is on a no longer supported software version, and you need to upgrade, you need to download the following:
</p>

<p>
	For the Spark or Spark + <a href="https://cyanogenupdatetracker.com/downloads/wf_spark_sparkplus/SW21-WF-PORRIDGE-CM-13.0.5-ZNH0EAS9KB-RECOVERY.zip" rel="external nofollow">SW21-WF-PORRIDGE-CM-13.0.5-ZNH0EAS9KB-RECOVERY.zip</a>
</p>

<p>
	For the Spark X <a href="https://cyanogenupdatetracker.com/downloads/wf_spark_x/WF-PORRIDGEK-CM-13.0.5-ZNH0EAS9KC-RECOVERY.zip" rel="external nofollow">WF-PORRIDGEK-CM-13.0.5-ZNH0EAS9KC-RECOVERY.zip</a>
</p>

<p>
	For the Swift if you find you are on 12.1 Cyanogen OS <a href="https://cyanogenupdatetracker.com/downloads/wf_swift1/cm-13.0-ZNH0EAS2NH-crackling-signed-9c92ed2cde_recovery.zip" rel="external nofollow">cm-13.0-ZNH0EAS2NH-crackling-signed-9c92ed2cde_recovery.zip</a> and then <a href="https://cyanogenupdatetracker.com/downloads/wf_swift1/SW27-WF-CRACKLING-CM-13.1.5-ZNH2KAS7EB-RECOVERY.zip" rel="external nofollow">SW27-WF-CRACKLING-CM-13.1.5-ZNH2KAS7EB-RECOVERY.zip</a>
</p>

<p>
	For the Storm <a href="https://cyanogenupdatetracker.com/downloads/wf_storm/cm-13.1.2-ZNH2KAS4YE-kipper%20(recovery).zip" rel="external nofollow">cm-13.1.2-ZNH2KAS4YE-kipper (recovery).zip</a> for 12.1 Cyanogen OS and then <a href="https://cyanogenupdatetracker.com/downloads/wf_storm/SW23-WF-KIPPER-CM-13.1.5-ZNH2KAS7EC-RECOVERY.zip" rel="external nofollow">SW23-WF-KIPPER-CM-13.1.5-ZNH2KAS7EC-RECOVERY.zip</a>
</p>

<p>
	For the Swift 2 / 2 Plus or 2X <a href="https://cyanogenupdatetracker.com/downloads/wf_swift2_swift2plus/SW33-WF-MARMITE-CM-13.1.5-ZNH2KAS7EB-RECOVERY.zip" rel="external nofollow">SW33-WF-MARMITE-CM-13.1.5-ZNH2KAS7EB-RECOVERY.zip</a>
</p>

<p>
	After downloading the updates and getting to the final Cyanogen OS version, the Wileyfox updater should prompt you to download the TOS Android Nougat release.
</p>

<p>
	If it does not, here is the SD Card update documentation:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://wileyfox.wetransfer.com/downloads/e6602f73596094197a690652a771585d20170420092511/7996d1" rel="external nofollow">Wileyfox SD Card update documentation</a>
</p>

<p>
	Any issues SHOUT!
</p>
