i bought a used Qtek 8080 bei ebay and tried tu upgreat the rom to:

QTEK 8080 ROM UPDATE V1.10.10.1

but I only get a empty Mobile Telefon :-(

The erasing part uf these upgreat worked good but the installing of the new part crash every time.

I also tried different roms and also some fixes but it will not work :)

Does anybody has an old original rom for me please?

I got this problem with 1.05 bootloader that I cannot flash my phone with any firmware available using fixed greek rom updater. Can someone please provide me with native Qtek 8080 firmware? I suppose this is only the a solution to fixup my phone. Please do not provide links to qtek.nu they are all dead!

Update: the most appreciated would be the QTEK 1.11.10.36 ROM as I found out that my phone's flash can be readable only by 2.6.2 updater that comes with latest versions. for example Orange ROM upodater can read my rom version, but VoUpgradeUT-GR-fixed is 2.4.0 and it does not read my firmware properly.

Solution: I found some very old topics where people say that greek ROM updater worked for them even with 1.05 boot loader. So I used Windows XP sp2 and ActiveSync 3.8 tried again and... I was able to flash my Qtek with latest Orange firmware though it take a while (about 30 mins). Now I have bootloader 1.07.02! :)

Charged the headset for the recommended 2 hours, with the boom closed press the multifunction button........and nothing happens

Kept it pressed for 1,2,3,4......30secs

The blue light should come on (I think) but nothing so far.

Has anyone else got one of these headsets???

I have recently had to dig out my old e200 for my girlfriend. To get it working for her I had to sim unlock with the pinned, non-perment unlock procedure above ( http://www.modaco.com/content/voyager-voya...00-patched-rom/ ).

My question is, how can i now get this phone app unlocked? I followed the post at the bottom of the unlocking thread about the registry settings but the software wont let me change them, and all the links to the orange site for the OTA unlock I can find thorugh the search are now out of date ;)

Has anyone got any recomendations on where to look next?

After a little hacking, there is now a new VoUpgradeUT.exe that can be used to upgrade those 1.07.01 bootloader roms without getting stuck at 10%! Its a hack of the VoUpgradeUT.exe that comes with the Greek Qtek upgrade. Turns out there was a mismatched password (similar fix as florin's fixed.exe).

This can be used to upgrade phones with the Imate ROM to the O2 ROM, for example. Theoretically it should be able to upgrade any ROM with bootloader version 1.07.01 or 1.07.02. As a plus, just like the Greek Qtek upgrader, it never gives you an "Error 117"... enjoy!

I had my old E200 unlocked officially by Orange France, and have been trying to install an Orange UK ROM on it so that I can give it to somebody in the UK. However, when I try to install the Orange UK ROM, I get the message "Error 100: Incompatible Image. The ROM image that you are trying to use is not designed to work with your SPV E200. Please check your country's web site and download a compatible SPV E200 software update utility". (See attached screenshot).

Has anybody else had this problem? Does anybody know how to solve it? The tech support person at Orange France assures me that the unlock code they gave me should have fully unlocked the phone.

The keyboard works, but the only shortcut key that works is the one to open Internet Explorer. Pressing any other shortcut key displays an error message on the E200 screen saying "Error opening the shortcut or locating the the target filename."

What am I doing wrong?

You need to get your E200 App. Unlocked, then edit the registry (YOU MAY NEED TO MAKE A SETUP CAB FILE TO DO THIS!! Due to permissions)

HKLM\System (Create a key(folder) called FileSys)

HKLM\System\FileSys (Create a STRING called TempPath)

Set the Value to TempPath to: \Storage\Application Data\Volatile

You can download this attached cab file which does it all for you! It will also give you cleartype (sorry if you dont like cleartype but i had to edit this setup.xml to get my reg settings in, i dont understand the setup.xml language to take the cleartype stuff out).

Sorry im not making sense as this is a complicated procedure!
