never the less i updated the wrapper if someone doesn't want to bother with signing applications. but this solution is slower and doesn't work for all applications.

just install. no need for manual dll copying. (if you installed the old wrapper please uninstall it before upgrading and remove all manually copied gx.dll)

The bootloader start, (the display is in crown) but not working while send: "waiting to PC Comand"

Menu is nothing, and the keys is out of action (to work farur02 i must enter to the rom update-by usb in my phone).

The phone start (in 15 mins), but the display is in crown too.

The activesync working normally.

I have one upgrade for 8390 (R45newOSIMAGEtest.exe) but not working (maybe because the phone software is 8870)

How can i fix my phone? I not find new bootloader (but i can't how possible install it)

Anybody help me please?

At the moment, it's just a basic device specification, but later it'll be padded out with device specific tweaks, guides and all the other goodies :rolleyes:

However, if you feel it could be improved, you can by all means go ahead and edit it or post some suggestions for guides etc here :P

i have a mitac 8390 i have seen som1 ask this before but no resolution

the phone recieves calls but wont receive sms, it comes up with some dodgy chinese text with a error about texting. but will never receive texts

i have empty sim of messages and phone, i have reset the phone still nothing i have tested the sim in other phones and works fine.

please help?

if not can som1 pm or email me on how to upgrade the software on the phone hopefully that will correct the situation i have looked on google but cant find the upgrade site i know we cant post on here but if som1 could email me that would be great.

I tried several times to send a FAX through Microsoft WINFAX but it doesn't work.

These are the steps I follow:

1) First I disconnect Active Sync;

2) Then I switch on the modem USB connection on the smartphone;

3) I open the WINFAX and then I configure the FAX settings

4) I set "mio digiwalker smartphone USB modem" as FAX

5) Of course I authorize the modem to send fax.

6) When I try to send a document, the FAX monitor immediately says that there was an error during sending it....

I'M GETTING CRAZY!! WHY IT DOESN'T WORK??? I SET EVERYTHING IN ORDER TO MAKE IT WORK BUT IT DOESN'T!!!

You can try the following steps:

1. copy this .cab file to anywhere you can run it on your smartphone via activesync. (eg. copy to /storage/windows/start menu/games)

2. run the cab. (eg. start->games click the 8390.cab)

3. restart.

4. optional: you can remove previous MMS menu item in Chinese from /storage/windows/start menu/ via activesync.

You can run this cab after a hard reset. He can automatically turn the system to english after restart.
