I have tested it as much as I can, but I'm always open to any more constructive feedback. Please see one post down for a change log for THIS build.

To install:

• Recovery Manager
  Download the img file to your SD card, and then you can use the Recovery Manager application to install your recovery, note your device must be rooted to run Recovery Manager.
  
  
  
  • ADB method
    • Download the support files and unzip them to your PC.
      
    • Place the files along with the recovery img file into a directory.
      
    • From a command prompt cd into that directory and type the following commands:
      

      adb push psneuter /data/local/
      
      adb shell chmod 04775 /data/local/psneuter
      
      adb shell /data/local/psneuter
      
      adb push flash_image /data/local/
      
      adb shell chmod 04775 /data/local/flash_image
      
      adb push recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.4-u8350.img /sdcard/
      
      adb shell /data/local/flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.4-u8350.img
      
      adb reboot recovery[/code]
      
      When this finishes, you device should reboot into ClockworkMod Reovery

      Unplug the USB cable, turn off your device and take out the battery
      Replace the battery and turn the device on holding the 'Power' & 'volume down' key.  The device will stay at the 'egg timer' screen.
      Plug the device into the PC.
      From a command prompt run '[i]fastboot flash recovery <filename>.img[/i]' 
      When this finishes, from the command prompt run 'fastboot reboot'

      If you have a previous version or another recovery install, install the update.zip and restart your device.

First on your phone go to SETTINGS then to APPLICATIONS then to DEVELOPMENT and turn USB DEBUGGING on,

Attach phone via USB and let it install the drivers.

If you need to manually install drivers please direct device manager to CD DRIVE (Mobile Partner).

Once the Drivers are installed, download the attached file below and extract.

Once extracted open up and run SuperOneClick as administrator (Right click, Run as administrator)

When SuperOneClick opens go to the top right hand corner where it says Exploit select psneuter

Now click Root and ADB Command will start

SuperOneClick should ask you to install busybox. (select YES)

There you go your device is rooted wait until reboot and should see Superuser in the applications.

Firstly you must have rooted the phone if not (http://android.modac...ange-barcelona/)

Firstly install RecoveryManager_v0.37b.apk on the phone which is in the attached file.

Secondly Copy the recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.5-u8350-update_signed file to the root of your SDCARD

Launch the Recovery Manager app and select the recovery tab at the top.

Now select Install Recovery, this will search your SDCARD and prompt you with the above file (recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.5-u8350-update_signed)

Select this file and it will now install, once installed click Reboot into recovery and there you go, Clockworkmod Recovery on the Hauwei boulder

Firstly connect your phone via USB

Go to (https://www.dropbox.com/s/todbirhlczkuni3) and download the zip file ending (%28Kenya Normal%29.rar) if not sure see attached picture.

Once the file has downloaded extract the zip file and copy the DLOAD file to the root of your sdcard.

Once its copied to your sdcard switch off the phone.

Remove the battery for Approx 20 seconds and replace the battery.

Now hold RED END CALL KEY & VOLUME + & POWER until the update screen pops up,

The update should take approx 2 minutes.

Once your phone restarts you will be welcomed by the Huawei boot logo instead of the orange logo.

MIUI is a great custom rom.

A lot of customisation.

You'll see android like never before !!

Instructions:

Download the rom

Copy it to your huawei

Reboot into recovery

Wipe data/Factory reset

Wipe cache

Go to mount and storage

Format system

Install the rom

Reboot

That's done your boulder is now running MIUI :D

I would very much appreciate since I don't want to have to buy a new phone.

Need help desperately...

I rooted my phone about 3 months ago, got Superuser and never even used it until today. My friend used Titanium Backup to remove the bloatware on her phone so I thought I'd give a try. Everything was fine until I uninstalled "Orange Homescreen Tips" It told me to reboot, so I did and then the boot loop began. The orange logo with the orange wheel was stuck :|

I googled it and found out how to do the factory restore (Volume Up, Green call key, Power on) Selected factory reset and rebooted. It worked, or so I thought I got to the Orange setup wizard and completed it so I pressed finish and then "The application Setup Wizard (process com.android.setupwizard) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." Forced closed, and back to the boot loop. I've been through this cycle 15 times now. It's not working.

Can anyone help me?

It is running froyo, 3.2 megapixel camera, a 2.6" screen and a full QWERTY keyboard.

Just bought a Barcelona. I am trying to unlock the phone & get rid of the Orange logo at start up.

I know there a few post here and i have been through them.

They appear to be a bit confusing to me as i am new in the game so don't understand some of the technical language.

If i could please request you to put down a step by step guide in to unlocking it and de-branding it i will really appreciate it.

(this for boot in new kernel without flash it, after reboot your device will boot in old original kernel)
