Guest martin Posted January 16, 2004 Report Share Posted January 16, 2004 Yes, you should be able to stop these sounds from the registry. Goto HKEY_C_UControlPanelSounds I think it will be keys SystemStart and shutdown (or something similar) Enter the above sound keys and click Value, Menu, New value, String. Use Name=Script and Data=(leave blank). Note the capital S in Script. The sound should now use your script instead of the one found in the associated sound catagory and because there is no p in the the script data the sound won't play :lol: Posted from my SmartPhone! Is that from the phone menu or using activesync? Hi You need to download RegEdit (from www.monolithix.org) to the SPV which is a program that lets you change parameters in the registry.
