Guest bnl107 Posted July 28, 2004 Report Share Posted July 28, 2004 Hi, I'm an AT&T Customer. Ever since Cingular bought AT&T my phone will constantly switch from AT&T to Cingular. My phone shows the roaming triangle and the display says Cingular instead of AT&T. The phone works fine, but the Internet service won't. I called AT&T and they said there are no actual roaming fees when the phone switches over since both companies are connected now. So, is there any way to have my phone's internet work seemlessly between the two networks as well as the voice service? Thanks in advance for your help. Guest Godfather Posted July 29, 2004 Report Share Posted July 29, 2004 I just got back from Canada a couple weeks ago and when I came back I saw that I was on Cingular's network. They told me the same thing that it doesn't cost extra to roam on their network. But everything works fine for me. I get the internet I can check my voicemail and I even get a better signal than when I was on AT&T's network. But since you use Cingular's network you have to dial the area code for local calls.
