Guest luketoms Posted September 1, 2004 Report Share Posted September 1, 2004 When I spoke to O2 about the ROM upgrade, before I had done it, the tech guy recomended that unless I have had any problems with my XDA II not to do the upgrade seeing as they have had many reported problems which render your device useless. If yours is "dead" you'll have to contact O2 for a replacement. The problem is, apparently, due to the Windows OS the person is using for the download, with Win2000 and NT being the badies.
