File Name :: Alarm Set

Author :: zamo_x

Category :: Utilities - Phone Management

Description ::

Small application which allows you to quickly set alarm of a Windows Smartphone. Add it to speed dial and you have quick access to set alarm.

Now you can set alarm loop.

Tested on SPV C500, should work on all Windows Mobile 2003 SE.

hi. your program is great!~ but it seems that it cannot set time in the 24 hours format. i'm using a mpx200 with wm2003 ( quite close to wm2003se ? ).

edit: opss. it seems that its fixed now.

just .net cf and it should work...

They should have an alarm that turns on your phone and that alarm goes off until you push snooze or off. (alarm clock)

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

function to turn on your phone is not implemented, but if you check alarm loop it will ring until you push snooze.

nice little app, works well, quite slow to get to the section to set it all once you've used the speed dial, but not a major problem. Thanks ;)

Can anyone tell me how to install this program?  I d/l the file and extracted but what do I do with the .xml and .001 file?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

do not extract the file.. copy it to your phone and use the file explorer to install.. the phone will ask where you want to install it and the installer will do the rest.

>>function to turn on your phone is not implemented,

I thought that the MS software can't control the hardware at that level. Mibbe I'm wrong.

Good job zamo_x...been using this for a few weeks now!

...if you're interested in feedback:

1) is there a way to make the 'snooze' a bit longer...5 minutes is not enough sleep!

2) can you make a nicer 'large' icon? I've got the link hardcoded on my homepage, but she ain't the prettiest one...sorry to say.

Thanks!

It should be cool to have an icon on the home page indicating that the alarm is ON.

Definately agree! My ideal alarm app would have the following features:

- Set alarm time (obviously)

- Loop or single play

- Snooze with adjustable length

- Homepage plugin/status indicator

- Vibrate/audible selection

- Selectable audio file for alarm (including MP3 and WMA)

- "Single" or "Recurring" option (one-time alarm only or daily repetition)

- Speed dial shortcut activate

- Possible supporting multiple alarms

There might be a couple more features I'd like, but that about covers it I think.

Very nice little app! I have been searching for a way to set the alarm programmatically because I am VERY annoyed with the way MS have hidden it inside a sub-sub-submenu, but your app does exactly what I wanted to do! Good job!

One tip to users: the .NET framework takes a fairly long time to boot which might make it less economic to use this program. So if you have started this program, don't exit it, but just se the "home" button to return to the home screen and leave the app running. Next time you press the Alarm set speed dial, the app will be quick.

Great App,

Should it also be posiblle to have the option "OFF/Every Day/One time.

Because the problem i have is that i only want to set the alarm for tomorow and not for the day after

It works on my T-mobile sda
