ActiveSync for multiple Outlook folders

I use my MS Outlook 2003 primarily as a communication tool for business. As such I have no desire to synchronize all my contacts with my MPx220. In stead I created a separate *.pst folder for my Smartphone contacts.

As the solution is not that obvious, how do I select which outlook contact folder must be synchronized via ActiveSync?

Any help would be appreciated :?:

Hi

Open active sync (right click desk top icon/click open)

Click "options"

Click on "contacts"

Click "settings"

Chose which ones you want to sync....

Your default contacts folder will be synchronized (most likely the server folder), there's no option to select an other folder with contacts to synchronize with.

I use categories for my contacts like 'work', 'private'. In the ActiveSync settings for contacts you can select the categories you want to synchronize. For me I did not select the 'work' contacts so they won't load on to my phone.

You can assign categories to contacts from within Outlook.
