Guest charleypetersen
add on from preveious message... when i try to connect it says "cannot connect using your default setting ( which i assume is dialup). use gprs internet connection instead" when i say yes it then starts dialing up, says "finding site" then goes back to "connecting" and then comes up with "the page you are looking for cannot be found" ive tried google, yahoo, and windows mobile and it just comes up with the same thing. would anyone be kind enough to write me an idiot proof instruction list on how to set this up including all menu instructions and settings please. i would be forever in your debt
Guest martin
Ok this is what I would do :( Delete ALL existing dialup, proxy and GPRS connections and then re-create the following data exactly for GPRS WAP. It can't fail :o Settings-Data Connections Menu-Edit Connections Proxy connections Menu-Add Create proxy connection Description: WAP Proxy Connects from: The Internet Connects to: WAP network Proxy (name:port): 193.113.200.195:8080 Type: HTTP Username: Password: Done Done Create GPRS connection. Description: GPRS WAP Connects to: The Internet Access point: wap.o2.co.uk User name: o2wap Password: password Primary DNS: Secondary DNS: IP address: In Settings - Data connections WAP connection: GPRS WAP In Internet Explorer, Menu-Options-Connections Untick 'Auto detect settings' Set 'Select network: WAP network' Try and connect to www.google.com
