check antivirus and firewall - you will find some settings on microsfot website

also check any program that you have installed relating to networking as it might interfere

my problem was having Netlimiter installed

PS: only worked for me after i uninstalled the above mentioned

i have 2 computer that i do active sync with my qtek8310 (alias sp5) , but i have also this problem:

with 1 computer in work is working and that it ok!

this is a strange one, I have 2 partitions on my pc, 1 running XP pro and the other Running XP x64 bit.

I have the same hardware on both obviously and also the same software exept OS.

Active sync works perfect on x64 but not on xp pro.

Now i always thought that the BSOD was due to hardware or driver issues but this is on the same pc so shouldnt it be the same?

thanks
