When I receive an incoming call both (vibration and ring) work well, but the vibration doesn't stop and it lasts until I answer the call. Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 8, 2006 Report Share Posted January 8, 2006 You can edit the registry HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\Ringtone0 Edit the value 'Script' and you can play with these options, a = allow repeat f = backlight On (f1) v = vibrate On (v0,v1,v2) the number changes the vibrate length p = play Sound/Vibrate On (if v has been set) w = wait/delay (w1 - wait 1 sec) r = repeat so for example, af1v0pw3r This makes your tone... Allow repeat, turn on the backlight, set short vibrate, play tone and vibrate, wait for 3 seconds, then repeat. Now with notifications ie SMS you can set these differently so you can tell if you have a call or just a message. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Notifications Click on Values and select Script Now for example change the Value Data to v1w1v1w1v1 This will change your vibrate notifications to vibrate 1 sec wait 1 sec Vibrate 1 sec etc. The only downside is changing profiles on the phone can reset these tweaks.
