Guest Ras Posted September 7, 2006 Report Share Posted September 7, 2006 Is there anyway using the Orange M5000 to connect to my Company's email server (with their permission obviously) and keep my inbox up to date rather than connecting through Active Sync and syncing? Guest jimbouk Posted September 7, 2006 Report Share Posted September 7, 2006 Yes...if the server is exchange server 2003 sp2 and you have the MSFP rom on your universal - then you can use directpush. If you already have your device set up to sync with the server, rather than with your pc's mail client, then just turn directpush on in the com manager. If not, check with your it guys if they have got SP2 on the server and if they have left all the settings to default, then set it up on your device to sync directly with the server.
