Hello,

I have a french HTC with azerty keyboard with HTC_Vox_ARA_1.27.415.4_4.1.13.47 rom.

It works well, it is totally in french, except my keyboard (in abc mode) write in qwerty (when i type on visual touch A, a Q appears on the screen).

Then, i tried Paul's Vox eT9 Language Pack wich include "eT9.Vox.040C.kmap.txt". I configured all in french.

But my keyboard still write in qwerty (in abc mode) (when i type on visual touch A, a Q appears on the screen).

What can I do?????

Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english...

How to install a cab: Copy it to your phone via ActiveSync. Execute with your phone's file manager.

Question: Paul, do you have a OEM package of this cab or could you provide the original files with the ini, because MSCEInf messes the reg keys up and I would like to include it in my ROM! Thanks for this!

How about danish T9 for the vox? .. seen you have it on an older model ...

Edit: nevermind, downloaded settings from my provider, the T9 was included :-)

Got a HTC S710 or E650 but not got the language you want? Help is at hand with this handy eT9 Language Pack!

After installing the attached CAB (may need application unlock and should be followed by reboot), you'll find you have the following languages:

  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Spanish
  • Dutch
  • Czech
  • Greek
  • Romanian
  • Polish
  • Portugese
  • Sloval
  • Turkish
  • Hungarian

Enjoy, and let me know how it works out for you :D

P

PS Why? I just wanted to see if it worked :)

Hi,

I tried to install your language pack - do you think it works also with my O2 Xda orbit 2 (German version). Should be the same as HTC Touch cruise? Thanks!

Paul where do the language files come from? I'd really love Norwegian on my phone as i'm currently learning it, and figured having it on my phone will help me learn without any hassle. So any suggestions on where I may be able to get this? I know I had it on my i-mate spl but don't suppose that's much use is it? Any advice you may have would be great :)

Hello everybody.

I have an HTC Diamond and have been desperately trying to find an XT9 dictionary for Romanian. I know Tegic supports it, it just doesn't come installed on my phone.

Can anybody help, pretty please?

Thanks,

Paul (not THE Paul :D )

For some reason, it didn't work for me.

Cab installed and restarted.

Unable to enable T9 at all, on any selected language.

When "Phone keypad" selected, no letters was typing in, just numbers.

Hard to understand, considered above opinions :(

Cheers.

Luk.
