Keyboard Slide sound

Hi there, does anyone know how to change the keyboard slide sound, to something other than the 3 sounds in the preset. i would like to put a transformers sound in place of the original 3 sounds. i have looked at the phone through activeSync, but no luck so far.

If anybody knows of a way, please respond in this topic.

I would like to change it too! The files are marked as "Read only" etc, you can't edit them or remove then etc.... And cant replace them... Anyone idears?

I've been wanting to change the keyboard sounds as well. What I have discovered is that in the 'windows' folder on your phone, there are the following files, which are the .wav files for the keyboard.

0.wav

0_in.wav

0_out.wav

1.wav

1_in.wav

1_out.wav

2.wav

2_in.wav

2_out.wav

The first of each (e.g. 0.wav) has both sounds in it, and is presumably just for hearing them when you choose the sound.

The problem is, these are read only files, and I don't know how to change that. Possibly one of the third party file explorer's will let us do that? since the in-built file explorer won't let you alter read/write privileges as far as I can tell. Presumably once that's possible, it's a simple case of replacing those files with your own sounds.
