Guest BillB Posted August 26, 2008 Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 I installed Port Spiltter to try to solve my GPS issues, and now a Port Spitter icon is taking-up valuable space on my today screen. Sny idea how to elimate the icon? I went into settings\Personal\Today\Items, but Port SPitter does not appear in the list of items. Thanks. Ive heard they're available through the orange business site..Im waiting on the sim free model though. One thing i have heard is the GPS is locked on the i780 the same as it was with the BJ2. I hope its not true though as that would be a big disappointment for me. Hi Mate, i work for orange data support, and have an i-780. the GPS is locked unforunatley. Though it does work with through googlemaps, and possibly other maps programs. The only reason i got for this is 'it doest work with our own sat nav s.w so we've disabled it until it does' not constructive and not helpful but hey ho. hope that helps.
