I thank all for their work in producing the software and think it would be better if I tried to write some. I have used c and c++ but only in the context of DOS. What would be the best place for code and tutorials to get me up to scratch. Im thinking of developing the following once I figure out how to program in windows: 1. Dvdprofiler type app for starters just to get used to the code. This requires the use of reading from a file and a bmp/jpg. And also using dialogs. 2. Small boxing game. Similar to the old c64 boxing games where you are transparent. I think frank bruno had one named after him. Later on I would like to add a function for taking photos and using them as the opponents face(not for a while yet). also album program and explorer. Any pointers would be appreciated as Im still trying to get my head around the format of windows programs. Also if anyone knows what is the benifits of WTL?
