XDA Zest and 3d games

i have just upgradedmy hone from an Xda Orbit to the Xda Zest and although i didnt play games on the orbit due to the trackball being too much work i thought id have a ho at installing some 3d shootem up games

i have tried both Quake and Duke nukem but have had no luck think its because the Zest has a higher resolution screen, quake loads up with a small window in the corner of the screen, plays a few seconds of the rolling demo and locks up resulting in having to reset the phone. and duke nukem just doesnt want to know.

does anyone know a way round this or know of any similar games that will work with the XDA Zest, thanks
