24601 - 24601 is build 5400 dated 12.01.2010, something newer

24001 - 24001 is build 4799 dated 18.12.2009, quite old

23519 - 23519 appears to be Build 4511 January 14, 2010 15:53:44 COM5

21626 - ??

I am using 28217 M2D2. It is comparably / as fast as Phdee 23620 M2D2. It has Office 2010 and Bat Bar is working.

However, I heard 23519 is good too.

I am dheewatara-s from pdamobiz. I'm a noob and first time to post my personal rom at the great modaco. Many people have been test my rom and many great comments from master that helped me to fix many bugs, just to say thank you all guys who helped me. :)

I have the latest rom release for testing. I have been testing it for a short while and it may some bugs so far.

I) LITE ROM::

This Lite ROM is based on new WM 6.5.x build. I try to make this ROM as lite as possible. However, some useful tools are still in.

LITE ROM specifications:

- WM 6.5+

- Lite ROM with some useful free programs. Programs left/added in this Lite ROM: Camera, File explorer, FM Radio, Internet sharing, Calculator, Java, Media Album, Notes and Office 2010, Pictures&Videos, Search, Smart converter, Tasks, TV out, Voice Speed Dial, Windows Media Player, WOW HD SBS, AudioGain Control, ContactFix, Favorite Hackings, GPS_XTRA, GSFinder, NoData, PHM Registry Editor, Power options, Shake&save, Torch Button, and IE.

- Bluetooth audio fix to enable voice dialing via BT headset

You can install Omnia programs by yourself.

Mini-Howto's:

1. Enable wake up by front/any button: This ROM was set by default to front button. Go to settings>Personal>Buttons>Wake up and select what you want.

2. Cannot connect to internet: Go to Settings>Connections>Operator settings, Set a different operator than yours wait for 30 secs and then re-enable your default one.

3. Using XDA_UC to install programs automatically Thanks to Noonski

Included in Lite and Extra Lite ROM are XDA UC, which is a brilliant way of installing all your usual cabs after a flash using mort script. The process is fully automatic and requires no user intervention (unless you want to install onto My storage/ Storage card). It will commence a few seconds after starting up and MUST NOT BE INTERRUPTED. Readmore about it HERE. This is how to do it:

3.1. Create a XDA_UC folder on the root of your storage card. In this folder, copy all the cabs you want to have installed onto the main memory.

3.2. In the XDA_UC folder, create a folder called SD. In this folder, place all the cabs that want to install onto Storage card/ My Storage. You will have get the option where to install them. Please note, if you install a cab that needs restarting after install (e.g Office), DO NOT restart, wait til everything’s installed and then restart manually (You will get a message when it’s all done) >>Thanks to Master Nick B)

Known issues: (still unable to solve right now)

1. Finger mouse doesn't work.

I have found a small problem. I had Windows Hotmail configured for Send Receive on my devise. After flashing the M2D v2 ROM :: Build 23518.5.3.0 (Com 5), I am unable to synchronize messages.

My Data Connection and Internet is working fine.

Hey guys , why not to make a super light rom, and just add a zip file with all the the essential cabs and so on in a single file .. so that we dun go around wandering about them .. also that we can just copy and paste them into the xda folder for installing while rebooting , this way each choose his own needs .. that would be a good idea , if anyone is interested , let's make a one

i know each of us got a folder full of cabs already , just each should upload what he think is good , and we delete any repeats ..

I just flashed M2Dv2:: build 28217:: ROM and so far i really like it. Excellent work PDhee !

So far it even seems a tad faster than ryrzy's rom which i used before. I am impressed with the speed and touch response. Very nice!

I don't like the taskbar color and the rounded buttons, i really prefer it all black so i'll install a black theme later.

I noticed Windows Marketplace and MyPhone weren't preinstalled. I guess you don't think everybody uses that and thats why you didn't include them. So I installed their cabs. Maybe poll around if everybody is interested in including them in next (m2d) releases ? I know i'd like that :-)

Thats the ghost of 6.1 still hanging around. you would expect better graphics seeing that were in 2010. Would be great if someone has a skin for that.

OK I have a BUG problem with the beta M2d rom.

Seems to be shutting itself down randomly, I have checked the battery life and it is not down to the battery running down.

Is this rom cooked with the 1% battery drivers?

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem.

first, i must say that after endless cooked ROMs i have tried, and countless experiments i did, i finally found your ROM which is absolutlely excellent! :)

everything seems to work wonderfully.

i have just one thing which is causing me quite a headache, I am from Israel and i need the hebrew regional settings, now, i saw i can configure it in the settings but what i get (and almost always in all other cooked ROMs) is LTR instead of RTL. i tried many solution to overide this problem with no success. its impossible for me to read E-mails or SMS's or see my contacts properly.

pls can you find a solution for this annoying problem ?

Extra Light 28217 is fast! :) It has old UI context menu (non touchfinger style). Anybody know how I can enable finger frendly context menu in this ROM? If it possible, course.

I tried manipulating with:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE\Menu]

"CUIHandler"=dword:00000001 (enable fingerfrendly menu).

But it don't work.

Any ideas?
