BTW, i'm fairly confident that we can get the sys to work with the radio.

My 1.9 was based off of 0.004x bin, but 0.008x system. I probably created about 50+ test builds before things worked correctly.

Launcher2 force close at start with 2.1.3.

I pushed HelixLauncher and this one works.

Do you want me to make a log when force close ?

Edit : I just noticed I didn't have any network connection. Baseband unknown. Must I flash the older bin to use it ?

Strange bug with the 2.1.4. It boots normally but when it displays the ANDROID logo in blue letters, there is a loop displaying this logo and playing the music that is played when this logo is displayed.

I hope my explanations are understandable ...

Well, I would recommend doing this then. Flash 2.1. Removed all the google apps from the earlier post I had. Then, meticulously add back...... maybe asop. This is why I do not like blind testing. Sorry guys. I will still see what I can do.

Ok, could I just delete the /system/app/ directory and push the directory that was in an other 2.1 ROM ?

Edit : I replaced the files by the files wich were in Xian his ROM and it didn't work ... Loop bug like for the 2.14 and 2.1.5 ROMs ... Sorry

Ok, 2 new test builds uploading now.

2.1.6 is has ZERO google apps and new rooted boot image from vache.

Things to look for in this version:

Obviously boot

Check baseband - Please report version

If baseband shows - start pushing google apps (gapps, checkin, setupwizard, vending to start)

2.1.7 contains all google apps from build 2.00r1 and new rooted boot image from vache.

Things to look for in this version:

Check baseband - Please report version

If unknown baseband - shell rm google apps one by one and reboot until it shows a baseband

I'm still only guessing google apps, but it could be telephony provider or possibly a couple libs.

Trying 2.1.7 first now. Then retry with 2.1.6. Will edit with results.

EDIT: 2.1.7 Same as 2.1.6 boot OK, Baseband OK, cannot connect to Market.

btw, how is the speed of the rom? Does it seem the same as 0.008?

Didn't test much. But the app drawer is now smooth, even with LiveWallpapers.

I think it's faster that 0.008.
