I just got my Legend. It's shiny, fast and looking extremely good! :)

Is anyone looking into rooting the Legend? That would make it perfect!

If I can help in any way (making a dump of it -- need a description), let me know..

Very nice looking phone...will buy it to replace my Hero...the Desire and Evo 4G are both much to big....i love 3.2 inch Screens for smartphones.

Btw. how is the handling of the hardware buttons? Do you need to press hard or do you have the problem that you sometimes activate one if you swipe over the buttons?

I was considering the Desire, but I agree with you: it's just too big.

You need to press the hardware buttons to get a reaction. It's not possible to activated them merely by swiping over them. So that's fine. :)

Well, yeah. That is a bit confusing coming from the Hero. I was trying to hang up a call, and kept pressing the search button to do it. :)

Nice! I just love it. My poor "old" Hero needs to find a new home. :(

Just got my hands on this ROM : RUU_Legend_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.31.707.2 , however didn't flashed yet as my "baby" was bought as simfree and too new yet :P . And also I would appreciate some tutorial how to dump(curent) ROM on HTC Legend before flashing 1.31.

The Legend construction is gorgeous, my only disappointments are that's it HVGA and I think it could / should be smaller.

:P

P

Have to disagree :( IMO 3.2" is best of both (my Desire is way too big and not really pocket friendly), but being smaller - 2.8" it would be not so nice to enjoy the SENSE UI.

I remember times not so long ago when using HTC Diamond and HD2 ...
