  • Main Menu is still there but it's not mapped to "Omnia Hex" key
  • Opera is 9.7 now (biggest change so far)
  • Large Toolbar Samung icons are gone, replaced by standard WM 6.5.3 icons
  • New keyboard skin and updated layout
  • Nice Black Theme, but not selected by default
  • New calculator app (at least new skin)
  • Touch sensitivity is low (default) - touch.cab makes it perfect (tweak required)
  • Samsung apps have new skin (slight change from JC2 and JC1)
  • Media Player is updated (although very close do JC2)

what about RAM? Start-up free RAM? Accessible RAM (139 or 144)?

most important question for me... is the samsung keyboard finally wm653 compatible ? ;)

Yes, all the samsung apps and settings are updated now to work with 6.5.3. OS including keyboard, settings etc.

Even Opera (9.7) is modified to have windows logo in the left lower corner as IE does in 6.5.3.

應該不會很久吧

Samsung HK is famous for s*** firmware support. They reserve all their best ROMs (IH6 WM6.1, JC2 WM6.5) for internal testing and release junks such as IL2 WM6.5 to us end-users (had it not been the people on King Mobi, there'd be no chance for me to update my phone from shitty HZHIL2 to HZHJC2)

Free RAM (with lingmgr.exe removed from startup) and Samsung Today enabled: 76,35 MB

Reserved RAM: ~181 MB so go figure

how about if you have Widget plus enabled? do you get 76 (I ask becos in JC2, you get 64~73mb at start-up with Widget Plus enabled. 73mb after clean flash, 64 after you install apps that run at start-up)

not sure yet...

already dump the rom, it still show it's 20mb pagepool.

it must mean that they have freed up some reserved RAM hard-coded in NK.EXE

I'm building a new rom from dump, only change pagepool to 8mb.... then we'll know it's really 20mb pagepool after flash the rom with eboot or the eboot will change it to 7mb.

If total ram is 152MB then pagepool is 7MB. The original xip in PDA part has originally 20MB pagepool, but I think it is the eBoot again to force the new value.
