i've been using MCR 2.1 r3 for quite a time without problems.

after upgrading to r5, i can't establish a wifi connection.

in settings > wireless it says "unable to start wi-fi".

i tried aps2sd, aps2sd+, full wipe, nowipe. makes no difference.

i tried radio 63.18.55.06PU_6.35.15.11 and the one before + reflashing. makes no difference.

anybody else encoutering this problem or having an idea for a solution?

thanks for your help

I had a similar problem... WiFi was working fine, then I tried to connect to a new hotspot and it just stopped working ("unable to start WiFi"). Only thing I could find to make it work again was a complete wipe. I wonder if an error when it connected to the access point caused a corruption in the /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf file, or somewhere similar. Possibly worth backing up and deleting this file?
