I've just had a couple of 450Mb builds on Delia too.

Modified settings to default:

JBed Java - selected

AdFree - selected

TrackPad Wake Only - selected

Advanced 802.11 N - selected

A2SD+ - selected

Disable 802.11N WiFi suppor - Deselected

OpenVPN support - selected

I had the same issue, until I changed:

Advanced 802.11 N - DESELECTED

Disable 802.11N WiFi suppor - SELECTED

Then the file returned to 160MB :D

Ah right, well I don't really watch videos in Facebook. You've tried the standard browser right?

P

hm.. don't catch the thought..

I wrote:

Beginning from r6 (to r8 now) I always have the promblems:

1. from time to time fall out the GSM connection - the operator can't be found, NO signal at all!!! After couple resets the problem disappear.. till the next time.

2. during the GPS navigation (CityGuide 3.8) the phone suddenly restarts.

I do experiments - what in the kitchen could affect this issue, but till now can not find.

Does somebody have the same problems and can they be somehow fixed?

AND, BTW, normal A2SD doesn't work AT ALL!!!

Hi,

is it possible to include the Chrome2Phone Application to the kitchen?

Can't find it in the market :-(

You can easily download it on your phone through:

http://code.google.com/p/chrometophone/downloads/list

:D any idea what could it be?

Try different GSM/Connection settings by dialing

*#*#4636#*#*

Phone Info >> WCDMA Only (try GSM Auto PRL, GSM Only WCDMA Auto etc)

For your #1 issue.

Would it be at all possible to add an option for the standard Android browser?

This is sort of possible, but it looks rather strange due to the HTC resources being installed rather than the stock ones. It also replaces the stock Browser. On the whole, not recommended.

thanks.. I've tried it already. For the battery life, I've switched to GSM only but it doesn't help.

Auto GSM/WCDMA is functioning the same way, with the same problems.. just consumes more battery..

May be it's all because of incompatible radio? Is there some other radio to test with r8?

@Paul

Disable boost sound. Please define.

Ticked = Do not boost sound

Un-Ticked = Boost Sound

Peter

It's "boot", not "boost"

It enables/disables a little sound that happens when the phone is booting up.

Why do eople need to disable ipv6

Peter

Same reason some Windows Vista machines need it turned off to work with their router - it can screw things up (was a huge issue when I worked for Sky BB support - their routers weren't great!!)

Boot sound being weird with me might be related with me having DSP manager installed with some sort of tweak in sound settings. (checked it was my fault because of DSP Manager)
