Thanks for posting the info. The price of the original Dell had stopped me from considering spare batteries.

My experience with the N800 demonstrated the usefulness of spare 3rd party batteries and an external charger. Not so much for everyday use though, I am still wary of 3rd party batteries, possibly unreasonably as I have never had a problem and have about 8.

They come in to their own on a long journey or emergency. At £8 or so (maybe cheaper on eBay?) this becomes an affordable solution.

At the moment I have an external power charger too.

How are the performances of these batteries?

I got the mugen battery after my original stock started failing. I still use them both though the stock battery's life is much less than when new or the mugen battery. I've now had the mugen battery for 3.5 months (was on stock only for about 2 months before buying) and it seems to have about the same capacity as when bought new.

Has anyone ordered or seen these?

Replacement / Spare Battery - B Dell Streak Mini 5 £6.98!

I bought 3 of these, they work ok if charged with an external charger, when in the phone the phone gives a warning screen about overheating battery and does not charge. They are slightly too long in my phone, I had to file off the end opposite the contacts to keep it from catching the sim card and making it hard to remove.

Ouch! Overheating warning is not good. Neither is not charging in the phone.

TBH when I used after market batteries in my Nokia N800 I tried to never charge them in the device anyway.

My travel Power Charge solution works well and doesn't take up that much room so I shall keep that as the preferred and cheapest solution.
