just need a method to get a new zip onto the card.

Maybe too simple to think of.... Why not take the SD out and stick it in your PC...?

Edit:

Hmpfff, guess I forgot to reload... ;-)

Thanks, no haven't got one yet so just ordered one from ebay

So...3 lessons learnt:

always check the MD5

always make sure there's a nandroid backup in place

and it helps to have a micro sd card reader/adapter

You can buy micro sd card readers in the pound shops

Hi guys,

i'm new on ZTE blade (i have it since 2 weeks).

I've installed gen 2 CM7 RC1 but i have problems with device rebooting because of gps.

I read, that e.g nightly build 127 doesn't have this bug.

My problem is, i'm leaving today (vacation) and if i flash my device i don't want to spend 2 hours by installing the apps.

Is it possible to flash nb127 without installing the apps (or backup)??

On N126 and now on N128 I don't have GPS reboot bug.

Just flash from recovery, don't forget flash GAPPS. Before flash wipe cache and Dalvik cache.

And what about flashing, factory settings and app losing?

No factory settings. Only wipe cache and Dalvik cache. Your app and data will no lost. This options is in advanced.

I was in a similar position a few days ago when i decided to remove the ADW apk from the zip. Lack of launcher led android to hang when booting. As you, i have no card reader so i couldn't save a new zip that way. I ended up mounting the /sdcard partition in Clockwork, and then pushing the new rom to the sdcard using adb. Worked flawlessly. Here are the steps:

1. i download the nb127 from

http://download.cyan...ly&device=blade

and copy it to my sd card (root folder)

2. Reboot the phone by holding the volumy -> clockwork mod starts

3. And whats now? "Install zip from sd card" or "apply update from sd card" ?

Best regards

topek

Install zip from sd card.

And then wipe factory and cache.

does CM7 support OTG?

Having read all 319 pages of this thread, I am in the position to answer that.

But seriously, did you do a search first?

But anywhooooo, the short answer to your question is no.

Install zip from sd card.

And then wipe factory and cache.

But if i select:

"wipe data/factory reset" then i will lost all apps, or not?

I have also in clockwork

"wipe cache partition"

Perhaps do you meant this one?

regards

Is it a known issue, that volume control buttons do not work during call IF screen is off (by the proximity sensor)?

I first noticed this with N127, but this is also the case with 130.
