I have to say, my phone has hung twice in the past week. I've gone to wake it up and it's just been dead and I have to take the battery out. Normally it's rock solid

The only really major change is I've started using Link2SD. Perhaps Ext partitions aren't all they've cracked up to be??

I've been using Link2SD on various (CM7, Swedish Snow, CM9) ROMs since the last 6 months now and my phone must have hung 2-3 times and even that was because of ROM/App problems. So, I really doubt that Link2SD is the culprit here.

Finnaly found the basic ring lock patch file from Sej's site..

Can someone now help me to implement this on my rom? :|

If it's a patch file then it's intended for when you compile your own rom. I can certainly link you to information on how to do that if that's what you want.

If you were hoping it was just a file you can copy over an existing rom then I'm afraid it isn't.

Wow! Where did all that come from? lol. I'll wait until they've finished adding stuff before compiling though.

I was actually on CM9 this morning because EA claimed to have fixed PvZ on ICS. Doesn't work on the blade still though. :(

Hey targetbsp

If you could post that link it'd be appreciated.

Here's the guide to compiling CM7: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/ZTE_Blade:_Compile_CyanogenMod_(Linux)

You can skip the ADB and proprietary files bit and instead do: http://www.modaco.com/topic/335328-romgen2cyanogenmod-7-android-237/page__st__10740__p__1838970#entry1838970

Java is no longer available as shown in the above link but you can get it as shown here under installing the JDK: http://source.android.com/source/initializing.html

Some of the other packages in the guide will complain they've been superseded, but will tell you what they've been superseded to. So just grab those instead.

Awesome mate! That was quick. Will be flashing in sometime. Got to make a nandroid first ;)

Do you notice any considerable performance improvements in this over the older builds?

I in my old versions were using "Faster Adreno 200 libs for Gingerbread".

At the time I noticed some performance improvements, the targetbsp also uses it builds on it.

If you want you can do first nandroid, and after the doings wipes can flashing normally.

Well I am using the updated version of those libs that I posted a few pages back. I meant any other noticeable performance that one can come across with the latest build :)

I set all the above up in VMWare Player (free, and better than Virtualbox) using the latest Ubuntu 64 bit. The VM needs 2gb of ram and 30gb of drive space.

Could you make a new compilation please. The one that asm19 made has the basic ringlock patch made by sej7278, Which is faster but the icon keeps disappearing and the screen needs to be touched again for it to appear! So irritating! Could someone please fix that?!
