Hi everyone, as a Android noob (As most of you have sadly found out!) I was wondering what your five most loved apps are for your Blade? As I'm looking for some decent ones, and have no idea where to start, Cheers : )

HotUKDeals Droid because I like a bargain and I like shopping.

Opera Mobile because its faster

Plume for Twitter best Twitter app I've found

G Reader Fullest featured Google RSS reader client I've tried, keeps me up to date with blog posts, news and anything else - most things have an RSS feed these days.

G SMS Pro Customisable, full featured SMS client that is a pleasure to use and shows I-Phone style conversations. I was introduced to it as I use LanceLH's wonderful Swedish Spring Remix Gingerbread theme Circle battery that comes with it as the default SMS app. Great choice.

Bonus Game choice: Game Dev Story charming little strategy game that's perfect for the gamer on the go.

CSipSimple - make calls over VoIP

FBReader - free book reader

Timeriffic - stop notifications at night etc

I've not bothered to rank obvious ones like GMail, Dropbox, Google Reader, etc.

Hi pondlife

Regarding my(I)player :P

Got it, bit can't play, due to geographic IP restrictions.....Eire!!!

Just a head's up, is there any way, like proxy, to achieve this.....

Don't know if foxy is available for Blade, or Android, but there does not seem to be ant provision for proxy??

A linky would suffice, thanx

Not in any order .. just 5 of my most used, but if I was allowed an extra one on the list it would be Copilot

Opera

Poweramp

LauncherPro

Go weather (its free .. and the life wall papers are stunning)

Go SMS Pro (also free.. delivery reports work)

Just tried GoLauncher and its nice, so strike out LauncherPro

Edit: quick addition after my 5 Zeam Launcher is great if you just want a snappy launcher and are not too worried about astetics (not sure i spelt that right)

What is "Go Launcher" for? It seems to be very popular!

It is a replacement home screen like launcher pro or adw

Thats odd, I find that both home screen transitions and the app drawer are faster on LauncherPro :P (compared to Go Launcher Ex)

I wonder why we are getting such different results!

Go Launcher is great, very functional, but very laggy on CM7

Add Flext9 to my list, amazing keyboard

+1

Was on GO launcher for ages, was fast compared to ADW, but launcher pro is super smooth compared to GO, the gmail/bookmark Widgets are just to good ;P

No idea if CM7 slows down GO launcher.

I 'spose its possible. I'm on Cm7 too! Anyhow I like the (imo) more functionality of launcherpro.

However GoLauncher would be good if you used all the other Go apps I 'spose :P
