If I am on 2.1 and I only need to use the qsd8250_semc command file... how do I do it? Does the phone need to be on? Or I should connect it while off, pressing the back button, to enter flash mode? This isn's clearly specified nowhere.

As Seen in op

Turn your phone ON and right after the vibration connect your USB cable again to your PC.

4. Start the qsd8250_semc.cmd file from QSD8250 folder

5. WHEN flashtool recognizes your phone (root permitions and some other buttons can be pressed) CLOSE flashtool and press any key on qsd8250_semc window

6. If the process will succeed you´ll get something like this:

process requires standard 2.x android firmware.

Press any key to continue . . .

Getting ROOT rights.

Writing patched semcboot. Two step process

7. Now run Kernel Upgrade file on flashtool

No there is nothing Flashtool is only showing the last line after flashing and i can't use the butttons.

And I'm using 3.0.0

i am using flashtool 2.9 ,,,after i ahve downgraded the phone and then reconnect and start the batch file,,,the flashtool says

connected x 10 and shows the busy box number,,,,but doesnt proceeds further

when i connect the phone for second time ie after downgrading,,i hear the sound of connecting (which one usually hears whenever a device is connected)my pc companion prompts me to connect the phone but suddenly i hear the sound of getting disconnected,....what is the problem?

ohhh i didn´t realize that, sorry;)

ok, try to remove ALL your SE apps from PC (SEUS, PCC and if you install usb drivers that came with flashtool remove that aswell).

then:

reboot your pc

reboot your phone

connect your phone to pc and see if usb drivers will install automatically.

install from SE web page thas version of PCC and SEUS

install usb drivers from flashtool

reboot both

see how it goes...

what i have figured out is when i reconnect my phone after downgrading kernel,,my pc companion asks me to select connect phone option by dragging the notification bar(which normally happens whenever we connect x10 to pc),,but since i have used the downgrade kernel all i see on my x10 is SE logo (which normally happens after using the downgrade kernel,,,so how can i make the pc companion recognize my phone ?

in step 3 when i reconnect my phone,,the pc companion asks me to drag the notification bar and press connect phone ,,,but i have already downgraded as in step one,,all my phone shows is se logo(which normally happens if we use downgrade kernel) ,,so how can i connect the phone in pc companion,,

Hi All.

I just tried this procedure and after flashing with flashtool for the first time.

I unplug the phone, turn it on and quickly plug it in but the phone remains in a blank state, no logo or nothing.

flashtool does not detect it.

Phone is new and unlocked with code.

I'd appreciate your help.
