Beta2 has different settings in loadmod on filesysten. It is looking for frb2update.tar.gz

Beta3's loadmod is looking for frb3update.tar.gz

Source is up to date. Except for the akmd2 binary.

But will update later today. Corrected accelero for original beta3 akmd2 and am testing

the phone gets hotter while charging and stays at 99% not 100%. I think we had discussed this earlier...

anyways whatever you do... just keep updates coming... ;)

If there is a bug, Sandor should have to fix it because I wouldn't know what it could cause it.

I see the same complaints on the I8000 discussion, so I don't think this has to do with me changing drivers to B7610 B)

Think will have another update ready within a few hours, with smooth and quick(er) rotating. I am researching if compass adjustments are easy to adapt. If so it will be in the same update, if not I will add them later (if I can adapt them.. It is a hard job)

According to the accelerometer, gravity is now at 2.6 m/s², which is quite low as it should be around 9.8 m/s². Increasing the sensitivity of the accelerometer will probably speed up rotation.

But it's working quite well since the previous update. No hanging, and axes seem correct.

My installation didn't pick up the update tarball because I modified the partition table on My Storage.

Reflashed the phone and everything is OK now.

If the compass is 90 degrees off, the X and Y axes are probably switched, and one of them incorrectly negated.

Rev 181 caused some strange freezes, rev 182 caused a compiling error on keyboard. I solved this but I have to be sure the freezes are gone. If you look at the latest source changes at google project page you notice the freezes are plausibly caused by the memory bug solved in rev 182 phj.

My phone has been working all day now, no more freezes so that part is almost surely solved now.

This is why all is taking a bit longer.

Will take a closer look at the compass now. With changes I made so far, north and south are swapped and east and west are swapped.

no it is not. It is standard samsung driver. It is of when screen is off.

As it is led, it will not have significant influence for battery life.

Rev 80 Corrected works as expected, had to reboot twice to work.

Only improvement would be faster auto rotation IMOpinion :)

Wifi is the hard part. Module is loading, but untill today I cannot find a way to get the firmware loaded.

I will post the frb3update 1 on google projectpage tonight or tomorrow morning.

Gonna do a last try to make compass work, if it doesn't I will post update with working accelerometer but malfunctioning compass.

the screen goes off while loading android.. may be with me only...
