hey pleas help me ........ cant any one share their working startup.txt

for internal sd

if not pls give me clear instructions how to do it...... i read pg1 but im gettin jumbled up ....cant understand what to do where

PLS SHARE STARTUP>TXT FOR INTERNAL STORAGE

for the startup.txt on pg1

change only mmcblk "0" p_ to mmcblk "1" p_ (make sure ur no. of partition is correct)

it's better u google and have some basic understanding of linux partition structure

(trust me and before B2, I never learn a bit of linux at all)

PLS SHARE STARTUP>TXT FOR INTERNAL STORAGE

for the internal storage installing, the startup.txt should be:

Set kernel zImage

Set ramsize 180*1024*1024

Set mtype 1626

Set ramaddr 0x50000000

Set kernelcrc 1

Set CMDLINE "rootdelay=2 root=/dev/mmcblk1px init=/init console=ttySAC2,115200 vmalloc=256M"

setbitp 0x7F008808 5 1

pfw 0x7f005800 4 0x3

pfw 0x7f005804 4 0x805

pfw 0x7f005808 4 0x7

pfw 0x7f00580c 4 0x0

pfw 0x7f005828 4 0x11

pfw 0x7f00582c 4 0x80

boot

and the red x should be different according to your partition

for primary, it should be from 1(since the ext4 partition is the second one in most situations, it should be 2 )

for logical, it should be from 5(since the ext4 partition is the second one in most situations, it should be 6 )

You should use mmcblk0px rather than mmcblk1px.

About the battery consumption, anyone noticed that the CPU is on 100% according to "mini info" and "Android System Info", but i can't find the app which causing it.

For me the battery drained about 26% (total 74% now) in 2 hours and 44 minutes.

If you are installing into internal storage, suggest you better not to use the androidinstall.exe. As the Dev says it is not guarantee working.

For your good, get a Ubuntu and do an easy job as what you should had done with Froyo Beta3.

Make the system work first, then only go through the other settings like making /storage and /sdcard working for you.

If you are using internal storage: then should be mmcblk1p2 or mmcblk1p3. depends on how you partition. If the 2 & 3 can't work, try to change it until 7. It should work.

Make your machine success boot into Android first.

Hi all.

I've been asking for help to have droidwall working in our beloved i8000 with CM6, but no success. So I've decided chage the orientation: Can anybody show howto compile the kernel sources to have a working iptables modules?. I have no experience with crosscompiling kernels, but Ive recompiled linux kernels in x86 platfom before.

Thanks

If you are using internal storage: then should be mmcblk1p2 or mmcblk1p3. depends on how you partition. If the 2 & 3 can't work, try to change it until 7. It should work.

Make your machine success boot into Android first.

how should i boot into android?
