I'm presenting these to you to decide, which one should be "official", however, this is not my decision to make, but I hope the developers will agree with me. :) These are the 3 options: 1st: With the "O" from Omnia 2's logo. 1st.zip 2nd: With the "O" from the word "droid". 2nd.zip 3rd: This is a mix of the first 2. The "O" from the Omnia 2's logo and the "2" from the second animation. 3rd.zip If you want to try these out, to see how these are looks like during boot, then download the .zip file you want to try, rename it to bootanimation.zip, and copy it to the /system/media folder on your device. Check the first post. :) Hi! is /system/media the right directory? Anyway, it doesn't work for me. When I put the bootanimation.zip into /system/media I have no animation at all. Thanks for the great work! edit1: found out my bootanimation.zip was empty after I copied it... I'll try again edit2: ok it works! ... my mistake! Personally, I like the 5th, but not the colour. There's no official color of Android. The text is white somewhere, green somewhere else, grey on other place and another color on another place. And I did not say anything about official color anywhere. And I cannot create 10 million variations of the animation to please everyone. :) Only thing I can say is that I'll release the .fla (the flash animation) file of the winner and everyone can modify the color of it.
