phone turned on !

removed old drivers, installed new ones from the 2nd post to install apps from my PC. (win7 32bit)

still, ADB doesnt work. phone works as MTP but not recognised when i used the APK batch installer tool (latest version).

went thru each n every comment, tried everything ! installed old drivers and removed new, had both drivers together. nothing worked :(

HELP PLS !

also, should i install dtapps2sd or is it already present ?

Not swap related, sure of that :)

Not directly. It is related to lack of RAM. Until ICS/JB will be able to comfortably live WITHOUT swap and fit in 256 megs - nothing good will happen.

Not a swap problem. We've found what's wrong on a1. Working on this in just now. Maybe next beta will be usable on a1 too.

This could be an improvement of smoothness on E too ???

Need a little patience, yeah

Just a little patience, yeah

Some more patience, yeah

Could use some patience, yeah

Gotta have some patience, yeah

All it takes is patience

Just a little patience

LOL I laughed, my Liquid would laugh too if it could, but it doesn't have that feature yet :D

Please add it in the next beta :P

hmm... when I try to Install OpenRecoveryScript in goomanager I get an error "No recovies were found for your device". I think I have the first version installed. 9.0.0-RC0-Liquid-WAG-Team-liquid-KANG, build date march 4 if that says anything. It's a liquid E, but the model under settings says A1. I have CWM v5.5.0.4. If I try to flash it from CWM I get the following error:

assert failed: getprop("ro.build.product") == "salsa" E:Error in /sdcard/cm-9-20120622-UNOFFICIAL-salsa.zip (Stauts 7) Installation aborted.

any idea what I can do?

Easy mode: update CWM with the one from 2nd post then try to flash beta4 in CWM

(didn't try that, I always try the expert mode :D but the worst that can happen is getting the same error when flashing beta4)

Expert mode: (may set your bed on fire if you don't know what you are doing)

1- open the build.prop file in system folder with Root Explorer

2- look for this:

ro.build.product

3- make sure its exactly like this:

ro.build.product=salsa

4- install Open Recovery Script from Goo Manager

5- reboot to recovery and install beta 4

I'm trying your easy method, but in Windows XP or 7 I can't get an adb device. I installed the drivers in the first post. It's listed in device manager as a media device 'A1'. I have usb debugging enabled, and I tried turning it off and on. On Ubuntu I see the device when I run adb-linux devices. The devices reboots into bootloader, but then the fastboot-linux command gets stuck < waiting for device >

Are there some other windows drivers I can try?

Thanks

EDIT: ok I tried the script on my mac (10.7) and it finally worked. after flashing the new recovery I was able to install the beta 4 zip file. Thanks for your help.

adb shell

echo "0" > /sys/module/avr/parameters/vibr

Is this still supposed to work? I couldn't get it to disable the haptic feedback...

Thanks for your hard work btw

Hi, anybody know which market app could successfully enable Wi-Fi hotspot?

I've tried a lot of apps, but none of them works.

Especially it will lead to Wi-Fi function fail, cannot enable Wi-Fi after trying to enable hotspot.

Wi-Fi function can only resume normal after reboot the phone.

I've wondered anyone sucessed sharing Wi-Fi?

This is by far the best ROM I've ever used for Liquid, except I really need hotspot function.

ipv6 :)

(+ some adjustement on freemin values, and so... but for now, THE ennemy is ipv6 and of course, we can't unuse it because the gapps doens't work in this case. Why make simple when it could be complicate)
