Hi guys,

I'd looking and found no references for that, but anyone tried to make VoIP calls with this ROM? I'm using CFX and it's not working... it's a "must to have" for me, because of my work...

Thanks a lot for your effort! :)

Dear KonstaT,

My phone shows the following Partition info like as follow.......

System : 152MB/215MB

Data : 95.16MB/204MB

Cache : 1.27MB/35.50 MB

sdcard : 3.17GB/7.50GB

Already I have done TPT Gen1 to Gen2 and I am using CM9 now.

Is the above configuration is suit for CM9 or may i need to repartition it?

If need, please give me the link for correct partition.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Guna

there are TPTs for gen1 and for gen2 phones in the second post. This TPTs are optimied for KonstaT's rom. But you may not tpt because your current partition is suitable for both CFX (you asked in those thread also) and KonstaT's roms.

Just gave it a try, I don't think this works yet.

I tried via the embedded SIP system, no result (back to the desktop).

I tried via CSIPsimple, could register with my account, but no call and a force reboot...

Edit: damn! those smiley's that are not recognized in quotes will drive me mad!

You can also try built-in SIP. open phone apk -> press menu button -> settings -> in the end you can configure sip accounts

PS agree about smiles

Actually that's what I meant by "embedded", which was not very appropriate ;)

But as mentioned, this one didn't work either (back to launcher main screen).

Hello

I've installed the 17.06 this weekend, I've formated and cleaned everything.

To install this new update (20.6) I have to format or wipe anything/everything again or it's just install and everything stays fine!?

By the way, great work KonstaT. It's the best ICS rom I've tried, very stable and everything (everything that i use and need, including battery drain..) works fine!

Thank you

System apps are those contained in the rom you flash, plus the ones in the gapps package.

So if you format /system, you should not impact your own apps, unless you moved some of them to /system.

Note that somewhere in the thread, KonstaT said that no wipe was needed to upgrade (not even the dalvik cache).

Edit: there it is, on page 3:

Yes, updating from previous builds works without a wipe.

*pro tip: you don't even need to wipe the dalvik*

Maybe it was specific to this update, but I didn't wipe since then and everything works perfectly ;)

I'm using Acrobits, because built in SIP doesn't support TLS SIPS transport protocol. It's odd because I can call to myself (VoIP to GSM) and it works, but if I try to call anyone else, Acrobits stop works but the call continues for the receiver.

I'm pretty sure that it was working in some earlier build but don't know when it got broken.

Think I'll have to go back to CM7... :(

How do i do that?

System settings > Accounts & sync

or is it the google backup in System settings > backup & restore?

Any thoughts on how to get wifi hotspot working with ICS? USB and Bluetooth tether don't work with my android netbook, even when using a third party app.

Can anyone help?

Hello KonstaT, very nice rom.

Do you plan to integrate an ad blocker in the rom, as in the Swedish Snow? It would be great !

Why not use AdFree?

It's free on google play and works pretty well...

Yes, but have an ad blocker directly in the rom is better right?

Umm... better because of what? I don't see the reason behind it...

It is almost the same, except for the fact that the app (Adfree or other) will be updated more frequently, and it will not require flashing an entire ROM to update.

Absolutely!

Disagree - Some developers are trying to make some income off this, putting in their efforts into some app of some sort, and by integrating into the ROM directly is plain, un-ethical and immorally wrong! And if I did that to my rom I'd cut my hand off for doing that!
