Can move apps using apps2sd now and my SD appears to be showing correctly in settings under storage. Thanks Tillaz. I'd never had a problem with my G300 with the 'defaulting to internal' issue, up to and including B07. My wife's G300 always defaults to internal, so I got around it by switching the mount points in the mount scripts so that 'Internal' is actually the SDcard, and the 'SDcard' is actually internal. This works a treat, though it does mean I have to hack the scripts every time I update the rom. With B08 on my phone, the SDcard is mounted on /mnt/sdcard and the internal is mounted on /mnt/sdcard2, yet when I take photos, they are written to the internal memory. I flashed the .zip you posted, and it now allows me to set the storage to SDcard, and this setting survives a reboot, so for me it fixes the problem. B08 seems the fastest one yet for me.
