I'd like to try CM 7.2 but I don't get if it is overclocked by default... My processor doesn't seem to happy with overclock :(

Guest Ma7moud
are you guys using LinksSD successfully on you liquid running CM 7.2 ?? You don't need Link2SD with CM 7.2 If you are running out of space on internal memory then try the following: (Needs a Class 6 or higher memory card, makes the phone slow if you have a Class 4 card) Go to Terminal Emulator and type the following su a2sd cachesd Class 6 card or higher, NOT recommended on Class 4 or Class 2 Edit: and I'm running MIUI Final V2.0 on my A1 Edited July 24, 2012 by Ma7moud

Guest Sany Linux
I have a class 4 !! what do you suggest then :) ?? thank you You can go and buy a new SD card class 10. They're not to expensive. You can find microSDHC card with 8 to 15$. ;)
Guest Ma7moud
I have a class 4 !! what do you suggest then :) ?? thank you I have a class 4 too, if you use that with a class 4 the phone slows down about 35% so if you can live with that then try it

Guest treyguitar
CM7.2 is perfect for me, extremely fast and smooth, everything working, only problem is the mic volume is low in apps like sound recording, voice recognition and shazam. CM 7.2 is faster than CM9 (on my Liquid E), with CM9 i have to wait like 4 seconds to start phone app, that's unacceptable for a phone...
Guest BadBoyKilla
CM9 4.0.4 by thepasto + jelly bean adreno drivers + OC 921 mhz Very smooth and stable (no reboot since I have it) and ALL HW WORKING ! I used to have LiquidNext 1.9.2 but it was WAY less stable...
Guest Daimao94
I would like to run a CM9 ROM but I always have a problem... So I use LiquidNext 1.9.2, a bit old but very fast and stable (OC 960Mhz OnDemand).

Guest DethWraith
The RC1 is too slow. :( Have you tried RC1 with the Adreno driver update patch? It should be a lot more responsive: http://www.modaco.com/topic/359940-cm9-adreno-gpu-jb-library-upgrade-for-cyanogenmod-9/

Guest Daimao94
It's faster and more stable, you were right. Everything works except "Enable swap" in LiquidNextParts (I have a 128Mb swap partition). I was wrong. Everything worked during 10 minutes, then it rebooted (I though it was normal, after the first flash...). After that I tried to search something in the Play Store but it rebooted again. So it isn't stable at all for (my) Liquid A1. Edited February 16, 2013 by Daimao94
Guest BadBoyKilla
Maybe because you only have 256 mb ram... Dunno works fine on my liquid E...

Guest FabTheZen
I'm interested in this topic, since i'm willing to find the best overall rom. I was going to flash LiquidNext on my Acer A1 Liquid, but I'd like to know if cm7.2 is better than LN (maybe I tried it, but I don't remember how it was). Also, I've tried cm9 and I have to say it drains too much battery and it's quite slow, I think it's better to stick with gb and below for our phone. Currently on my phone there's stock froyo rom, after a long time of LN and a bit of cm9.
