Guest sparhawk76
What network are you on and what country? Fido (Rogers), Canada. Just to try and see if it would downgrade the baseband, I tried flashing a few of the europe-open v10 releases. All the ones I tried would just cycle the lg boot animation, with a period of white screen at the end before restarting the animation. Gave up for now and through back the stock fido firmware. More attempts will be made later, happy to test anything that might work. I'm guessing it needs new RIL libraries for my phones newer baseband. Sparhawk I'm glad the baseband change failed, you would have lost 3G, as the e400r supports 3g/hspa 850/1900 and the european version supports 3g/hspa 900/2100

Guest sparhawk76
Gave up on switching baseband and have been digging more into the problem from other approaches. On my stock rom, rild opens: /dev/oncrpc/30000000:9cac4f71 On the CM9 rom, rild is trying to open: /dev/oncrpc/30000000:dbe9dfa1 When viewing the directory listing of /dev/oncrpc/ on the cm9 rom, there is no /dev/oncrpc/30000000:dbe9dfa1, however there is a /dev/oncrpc/30000000:9cac4f71. hI'm guessing is that somehow rild is getting the wrong ONC RPC port when trying to connect to the baseband. Tried to create a hard link between the 2 files in /dev/oncrpc/ but that didn't help rild to start up. ON the stock firmware when run from the shell, rild gives the following output: ONCRPC Opened device: /dev/oncrpc/30000000:9cac4f71 ONCRPC Opened device: /dev/oncrpc/30000012:00040000 ONCRPC Opened Guest kerberos2001
Hi \o, Recently i've installed the CM9 for E400, and worked successfully. But, I have some issues with this rom, as follow: Radio FM missing (not exactly a issue, due the lack for support at this momment, I know =p); The Google Play (Market), it's falling into ERROR 921, and I can't download any apps to my Android. However, I have "googled" about error 921, and I've found some workarounds, like wipe cache, restart play application, and others, but, no one of these has worked. Have you a another solution for this problem? Update: ----- Sorry for any inconveniece, I already solved the problem =): Follow here to solve: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-slate-tablets-Knowledge/Fixing-Google-Play-Cache-Problem/ta-p/749935 Edited December 1, 2012 by kerberos2001

Guest kerberos2001
Yep, I had installed the GAPPS-ICS package... With the procedure in link, my Market was worked ok. Now, the other problem, it's a problem with HSDPA/EDGE conectivity: The cellphone shows the H (or E) symbol, but it rarely opens the data access to EDGE/UMTS network. Could have a workaround for this issue? Remember that, however, the Wi-fi access works ok! Ah, could I help you with some log, or debug? Did you installed gapps? Guest joe74
Hello. New in here. There's a new nightly release of CM9 [0] for downloading. Has anyone tested that? Have past bugs been fixed? The last one I tested was 20121111 and still wasn't able to connect via USB. Guest joe74
I keep having that "Defualt Message". And notice, is " D e f u a l t " Annoying. Appart from that it boots faster. Any idea how to get rid of that notification? ======UPDATE====== It just disappeared after a reboot. Doing fine, so far. ====UPDATE==== Annoying notification disappeared after a pair of reboots. gapps ok. Camera stops failing in second run. Problems at rebooting after having installed gapps. It seems failure at rebooting maybe related to reboot in power menu. Failure at booting is solved entering to CW menu and selecting "reboot now". Past problems with mobile connection (3G) seems solved. Camera ok, video ok, GPS ok, music ok, navigation in browser ok... calls and messaging with some minor issues. So far everything is functional with only small issues described above. My model is LG-E400g and using Claro Nicaragua. I had some problems to connect via 3G before. It's ok now. Here the link to the one I'm using>> http://get.cm/get/jenkins/14260/cm-9-20121202-NIGHTLY-e400.zip Install, reboot... wait... enjoy. I used wifi before. Now works wifi, 2G and 3G. Hope for next monday all major bugs will be solved. Facebook app is honestly a s*** in CM9. It worked a bit better in my stock rom with Gingerbread. This is my second day using it. By the way, the one I used before was the cm-9-20121111. Greetings.

Guest joe74
It didnt work!! I really cannot use my phone without network connection to 3g... Im back to stock now You should report the band your provider uses. Why should it work with my model and not yours? Remember you have to setup your APN manually. It's what I did. How are you installing Google Play? There is gapps >> http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/wiki/Latest_Version/Google_Apps and it should be installed via CW recovery.
