I think b895 contains huawei backup app and other fix issues....(P.S. sorry if my english is so bad)

Sorry, I meant the 2 different versions of ICS. One is labelled as "05011EEY" and the other "05011EFA"

I have zero experience with this kind of things. My phone is stock b892, no root, no cwm.

Is it safe if I follow the steps in the pdf or should I wait for OTA? What's the worst thing that could happen?

I plan to throw this over my stock B892 unrooted G300 when I get in tonight, I'll let you know if it's stable.

Will this have all that Vodafone crap installed?

Yes. If you're rooting though that shouldn't prove a problem, and odds are that Paul Modaco (if he's still making an ICS ROM) and the ROM makers here will have a stripped-down version of it out in a matter of days.

Hope there are significant changes/improvements despite version number being all too familiar. ICS slowdowns, memory management, apps not responding, mountpoint issues and hw accelerated ui are just a few things that spring to mind. Will not be happy if some of these issues have not been addressed.

Our device and lesser devices can handle it. Look at ics/jellybean on the blade. In terms of responsiveness it's light years ahead of any of the g300 ics releases. I've got both.

Something is awfully wrong with ics on the g300 and Vodafone better not be palming us off with more of the same.

No idea why but from what I can see the only difference between the two zips is the pdf file included.
