Guest sontarasan
Hi I charged my blade last night, took it off charge and went to bed. Just gone to use it now and battery is at 42% at just under 14 hours. Mobile standby is at 58%, phone idle is 33% and screen at 10%, wifi, data use etc is all switched off. Under Swedish Snow I could get 2 -3 days use out of the Bade - is this normal? I'm using SmartAss2 on CM10.1, pretty sure I used this under Swedish Snow. NO. if kept on stand by my blade barely loses 10% of battery in about 10 hours without any internet connection, just a few calls Edited March 25, 2013 by khadu
Guest elrond_bs
Please report battery usage problems after more than one occurrence and after at least 4-5 days of usage of that specific version of the ROM. Otherwise it means nothing, could be a random bug or an app or anything (don't forget software isn't perfect, even original ROMs). :) The threads are full of complains for battery problems, most of which are invalid, because of the above. You can't measure battery performance for one day or make assumption from one strange drain. Also, always check System->Battery and use BetterBatteryStats to catch the app that caused the drain. ;)

Guest Jevgen
Hi all. I've decided to do a clean install on this one. Formated all partitions and installed rom + gapps. After 1st boot, I get a blank screen (backlight is on, touchscreen reacts to touch because the hardkeys backlight is on). To fix this i need to remove the battery and reboot. Anyone can confirm this? If you can't confirm, please reply as well because I have no idea what is wrong here. Same problem

Guest Loki86
you can use lmt launcher with all launchers: apex, nova or trebuchet because it isn't a real launcher, just an extension
Guest Maarten Lambrecht
Your solution did not help to extend battery life for me. Same thing for me. I really don't know what the problem could be. For me it only occurs on 3G. Even after a clean install. Is there anyone using the Dutch San Francisco (sold by Mobistar in Belgium)? I use Mobile Vikings as mobile provider. I encountered this battery drain on two different ZTE Blades (both dutch ones, both with mobile vikings) Does anyone know a solution? BetterBatteryStats didn't find the cause...

Guest Maarten Lambrecht
i read that viber can drain battery, i think it's a software bug There are lots of buggy apps that drain battery. But it happens also after a clean install, even if I don't install any app... Edited March 25, 2013 by Maarten Lambrecht
