It doesn`t matter which baseband you wear - five roms are here to try!

All of them tested in reasonable time period (two days :)) - all of them good.

Downgrade?

In some areas you`re down.

In others you`re up. ;)

Is like a downgrade because I have ICS and this ROMs are GB, which areas are up and down?

gb is faster, has more free memory and better battery

I saw a GB/nonGB poll a week ago on Anzhi g300 forum (a forum with a rhythm of one post per minute or so)

In that poll, you`ll have to believe my words, 60% votes is on GB side.

Why is that so? What`s the catch?

I prefer CM10, really.

But GB rom has it`s charms, you can`t deny that. :)

In antutu who wins? GB or ICS?

But if GB is so good for our phone why people do ROMs just for ICS or JB in this forum?

Today I installed the 007_Hacker rom from this thread and flashed Kratos kernel (no oc on 2030 baseband) and adw launcher. Before I was on Slim rom v11. I must say that I got pissed at the little lags in ICS - sometimes even wakeup. In GB everything "just works". The apps (especially GMail) look worse (any idea how to change sms smileys?) but it is snappier. The scrolling is so smooth. Thank You dakok.

To be honest I don't backup anymore. I just turn on wi-fi, login to google play in my desktop computer and click on install on the website. Takes about 30 minutes to let the phone finish. I know, this is stupid. I don't backup sms and calls.

So far rom is good. i can't tell any difference to atomic. It's speedy, escpecially now with launcher 8 installed. Only problem I have is that the modaco app looks different (no biggie) and boat browser lags scrolling (but not the default browser).

On 007_hacker rom many people reported to me that they couln't call me. I noticed that I had less signal and often no signal at all. I am now back on my backup from Slim rom but will probably bother to go Atomic.

Yes, but I guess you`re on 2030 baseband?

Happened to me with 3 GB roms on 2030 baseband.

So it seems that the hack with libcm.so isn`t so usefull, after all.

Now, I can`t remember if I had the same problem with CM7 gb roms on 2030bb.

Not sure :(

:(.

It seems that there are problems with the hack for

ICS roms on 109808 baseband, too.

And with multibaseband releases from Jsevi and Dazz.

I have the Huawei Acsend G300 With the baseband 2030 and I'm planning to flash the U8815_Geno_v3_B897. My phone is U8815 but it's the B952. Will i still be able to flash it?

Can't see any reason why not.

Maybe do a CWM/Nandroid backup of your current setup first just in case anything goes wrong (which I don't expect).

Also - whenever flashing a new ROM always do full wipes and formats to ensure that nothing gets left over from the old ROM that may cause problems with the new one.

Hope this helps.
