updater script is in META-INF folder in your zipped rom file:

META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script

Open rom with 7zip and don`t close!

Pull out script.

Use notepad++ to open script and delete this lines (or similar) at the beginning of script:

assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "u8815" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "u8815" ||

getprop("ro.product.device") == "hwu8815" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "hwu8815" ||

getprop("ro.product.device") == "u8818" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "u8818" ||

getprop("ro.product.device") == "hwu8818" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "hwu8818");

So, you have to delete all lines that have 8815 or 8818 in them.

Replace your old script with this new by pulling it back to

META-INF\com\google\android\

Now close your zipped rom file

just a suggestion it would be nice if you can put all the future updates on the first page of this topic coz as the pages will increaseit would be much harder to search a specific topic...

I don`t know why am I doing this, but I`ll answer if you promise to try to investigate it yourself a bit more before you fire up a new question.

pOcHa is repacking and "westernising" ROM25 by Hay (Hay leads a team of devs doing Baidu`s (now) unofficial releases for g300)

This release is by Chiwah, chinese modder (something like folks on modaco do for B9xx releases - adding stuff to make roms shine)

Difference is that Hays release (pOcHa) is a kind of "original" rom and Chiwah release is a modded one.

Based on previous experience - I don`t like Chiwah release :)

Now don`t ask for backup stuff opinion. Please :)
