Judging only by your words - it could be anything:

empty battery

bad power or vol + button

pain in your index finger

bricked phone

and numerous other reasons.

But, your phone is called smartphone and

it probably tells you what goes on during installation.

I have problem with google sync. I've installed gapps for JB, but when enter gmail and pass, there is only Callendar in sync options and shows sync error.

There are problems sometimes with google's services on fresh rom flashing.

It usually goes away after a while on restarting or google's updates.

You flashed 20121011 gaps, didn't you?

I've install rom yesterday and problem persists.

Gapps I have are dated 20130301.

Should I try with older ones?

Then it could be damaged zip file. When you browse this topic and see that people install this roms and you cannot install any of them - then it is not up to rom.

And for the first boot - it could take long, sometimes more than 3-4 minutes.

For atomicr : you must flash 20121011 gaps because 20130301 gapps are from JB 4.2.1. I made that mistake once and google services don't works

Download rom and gapps for JB 4.1.2. and flash like any other rom with full whipe ;)

Now, I have flashed Shendu without problems, during 5min of playing data is working and rom is nice, but 95% of apps are on chinese.

So does someone have solution for that, or it is best to remove every app, and instal english replacements?

Reboot. As I can remember you can rename appd with long press on icon.

Replace calendar and calendar something with ones from cm10.

Remaining chinese stuff rename in root explorer

just flashed it, so far so good

after using this ROM for few hours I can say that it's great...after restoring my apps with titanium I haven't notice any lags...really recommend it!!!

Hell's Bells !!!!! I must be allergic to Shendu :angry2: Apart from the very first release, I have been unable to get any version since working. I can get a boot up ,but when I swipe the unlock button, I do not get to the unlock figures. The phone just reboots at the Shendu logo. :angry:. All installs following full wipes.!!!!!

So another update...:-)

I use this rom during one month - no major problem for me :)

GPS, camera, ok.....battery could be better but mine mistake :D

I wanted to update via OTA but after downloaded and flashed in TWRP I get status FAILED...but now I don´t remember due to....?? :unsure:

So I flashed it as usually as a new rom - full wipes....without problems

Yes...this rom is really good.

But one issue....I couldn´t find some solution

When I use Pulse notification light with Use custom values so I haven´t problem with missed calls and SMS. But when I add the other apps, e.g. Viber, so I get blinking notification only when is screen on, when is screen off so without blinking......it´s pitty because I don´t use the other apps for this
