The 7comp ROM is a project initially made for Galaxy S2. I brought this ROM on CloudMobile for your pleasure ;)

I will not add extra features to this ROM, just update it with any work made on CM 10.

ahh

if possible can you create a local_manifest.xml for our swing device ?

i am bit confused with the kernel stuff

or is there a kernel binary included in device sources so it wouldn't need to compile new kernel during compile ?

also the screenshoots look from ICS ?

The 7comp repository is not public.

About the Kernel, I don't unterstand what's the problem, Kernel sources can be compiled fine.

Screenshoots are old, from my GalaxyS2, didn't have time to make new screens on the CloudMobile.

i mean only a local manifest for the swing device sources

like

vendor

device

kernel

etc

not local manifest from rom sources

;)

Is this ROM stable enough for daily use (apart from GPS unfortunately)? I don't care about the headphones too much, but I really want that customizability!

I think yes :)

It's based on CyanogenMod, the last build I made has the Kernel from CM v3

I didn't had time for now to make a new build with CM v5 changes, but It will be soon

Put this in build.prop - ro.opengles.version=131072 and you'll never have that problem again

Thanks for the help, but that didn't work :(

EDIT: Well, it worked, but I had to wait a bit.

im on cm-10-20130614-UNOFFICIAL-swing_v5 and i am getting random restarts, can anyone confirm that this doesnt do it as well, also what needs to happen to get the gps to work....this is overall a good rom, a few things here and there, does anyone else notice the volume on the earpiece is lower and the speakerphone too?

this rom for me in 2 days had none restarts(and i heavy used my phone) , the only thing i dont like is the battery discharging fast, even with gps off and stats off.

And yes the incall volume is lower , same applies to cm10 for me.

About battery drain, did you reboot ? A reboot is needed after disabling GPS & Stats

It's normal for now that there is no random reboot, because the r3 build is based on CM_v3 (wich doesn't have reboot, it appears on v5)

I can make a new build based on CM_v5 modifications and see if it reboots like CM or not

What do you mean with battery drain? Aka: how long do you do on one charge? I'm now running the Cirrus ROM and without touching my phone I get about 2 days; however when I use some news-apps (like Engadget) over a full-bar Edge connection it went from 100 to about 30% or so in 2 hours.

yes i did reboot, i have none apps installed , it says it stays in deep sleep but dunno over night i lose like 20-25 baterry:-? also an annoying thing i cant find the data conection toogle^^ and for me that was the most usefull toogle:D. As for cm10v3 i had random reboots on that rom also. but this rom had absolutely none reboots.
